Out of 28 bets placed this weekend, I've got 4 wins. This ratio of 4/28 is probably higher than my year to date average too.slaterj wrote: Ouch.
Currie Cup has been nothing but a hole in the head this season. May as well play the lottery there's more chance of winning than predicting what's going to happen from one week to the next
25 years ago at the Wild Coast I pulled the 4 sevens on the progressive jackpot bandit sitting at 5 million, but the second seven was a quarter click down and the fourth seven a quarter click up. My wife said "Goodie, you'll get it next time..". I said, "Nope, there'll never be a next time, these 4 sevens is a telegram from God telling me he's never gonna give me 5 million rand. if it was ever going to be, that was it." So I cashed-in on the spot and have never been back in a casino since.
Well this weekend, with the winging Ozzies slaughtering the ABs, was my telegram. I'm tired of this pain every weekend. i'll use my remaining balances up during the world cup.
Good luck guys, I'll keep watching
Cheers.

Weather looks good, this being a warm-up match with not much on the line, I think both teams will throw it around a bit.

Pitch looked incredible from photos I’d seen, and should be dry tomorrow if not a bit windy. Defences may be a bit loose and rusty.
Doubled up to max bet on the over 44.5 last night. This feels like a Rorkes Drift last stand moment today, the NZ result knocked me hard yesterday. Small profit bok match but need a free flowing match today to avoid a weekend to forget.

Awesome call on BoP Dave. Called it early and really stuck to your guns. Your conviction in your argument saw me win a little bit of Saturday's carnage back. Great spot!

Having to put up with these 2nd rate referees will drive me to the drink though!

Massive relief after that last penalty. If this had gone wrong I don’t think I would have ever recovered from it. Sometimes we get a bit too risky when trying to recover from a big knock and I literally took the betting account balances to zero for this one today.
England have impressed at times.

Strange weekend for me, followed some great forum tips on Mitre10 Cup and backed the Boks - probably won 80% of my bets but such was the investment on New Zealand over 4.5 tries I think I only came in around square

Low cut in Mitre and International game were the right spot but guess bookies won’t make the same mistake twice
A special thank you to BookieDave for his gem (BoP, Tasman,…)
