Cardiff v cheetahs:

Cheetahs outright at 1/1 is a great bet for me. Cardiff have been really poor this season (and are generally pretty poor). I back cheetahs to break their travel hoodoo.

Also taking -5.5 at 2/1.

Bath v saints:

Although it’s at the rec, saints have been phenomenal this season and I see them continuing that.

Saints outright 1.2/1

Probably not the right thread, but had an early look at the six nations outright. England worthy favourites, but very short. Seen them as short as 15/20.

France at 16/1 looks massive to me. They play 3 at home and 2 away. Home games are against England, Italy and Ireland. If they can get the win 1st up against England they are in with a real shot at the title. France has been impressive the last few months and under Galthie I see them improving more.

Have backed France at 16/1

Have taken some Glos -7 v Saracens

Purely on basis Sarries heads won't be right, in view of salary cap breaches.

Sales vs Wasps
Over 40.5 @ 1.70
Dry but cold tonight in Manchester, both team has the backline to score and wasps defence has been poor for the past 12 months

No Faf back yet, but Sale boys will be inspired by Bok RWC win and will crush Wasps.

Taking the below "easy" bet with 5 of 10 units confidence.

Sale Sharks (-6.5)
Points Start (a)
Sale Sharks v Wasps

Ask me If I ever thought could get $3.42 H2H on a Saries Game!!!
Not seeing team affected by negative points and $ fines. More like a backlash.

Betting Saracens Away
Match Result
Gloucester v Saracens
@ 3.42

Going to look for some Saries -6.5!
Found it!
Champion Team - Class is permanent.

Betting Saracens (-6.5)
Points Start (a)
Gloucester v Saracens
@ 6.50

Oddly enough I have the same bets, got Dweba @ 3.25 though

Blues down to their 3rd & 4th choice tightheads, can see their set piece coming under the pump

Was dumping down here in Cardiff earlier, but rain meant to clear by K.O

Also on Benetton +4 v Scarlets later

Nope. I was on Gloucester by the time I read your tip 3P. Thought Sarries mgmt team would buckle a bit.

My game is running to form tho: this morning's check reveals that I got 1 bet correct out of 11 bets placed.

I can only repeat your mantra 3P - Yeeee Hiii

On a positive note, I have cut my bets considerably, so not losing too much.:S

Exeter -12.5 @ 5/6

Hi Kirky, You wrote " Thought Sarries mgmt team would buckle a bit"

Looks as if the Team that buckled was Exeter Chiefs. Possible explanation given by Rob Baxter after shock loss to Bristol 17 - 20, blowing a 17 - 0 halftime lead. After all Sarries "Robbed" them of two English Premiership Finals!

Expect strong bounce from Exeter to beat La Rochelle away in Euro Cup. Early bet on H@H @ $1.67, but will add Exeter -6.5 when it comes available. Cheers 3P

I recall last year that teams who did well in the Premiership and Pro14, begun failing spectacularly in the Champions and Challenge Cups, and vice versa for some poor performers who suddenly were beating all comers - Bristol comes to mind. I think they target one or the other, but not both, and we end up with the same situation as in Super Rugby with the world cup approaching - everything goes into disarray and the rugby becomes dishonest.

In this week's premiership even the bookies got most of the matches wrong. In my superbru pool of 24 players, I got 2 from 6 and went up a place: that must be called ridiculous, no ?

Anyway, after your Sarries call, I'll give a bit more respect to your predictions from now on :) I really hope you cleaned-up :beer

20 games this weekend between the 2 tournaments - got to try and find a few plums amongst them
