Felt Richardson looked really good in the BBL and if you offer me 11/2 on Marnus in any form of cricket I'm taking it.
Australia
Top Bat Marnus @ 11/2
Top Bowler Richardson @ 4/1
India
Top Bowler Jadeja @ 7/2

Good day gents,

Bit of advice needed regarding the following ruling in a T20 fixture.

Batsman Runs (In-Play)
"Twenty20 Cup Matches - Bets will be void if the intervention of rain or any other delay results in the number of overs being reduced by 3 overs or more than that scheduled when the bets were struck unless settlement of bets is already determined."

I took an inplay bet pertaining to Hales over 36.5 runs. This was prior to when players came off the field for rain. Game was then reduced to just 14 overs (losing 6 overs) Now am I correct in assuming that given the bet was not already determined at the time they came off the field and at that time, Hales was not out. The bet should have been void given that permutations changed once they came back on the field with the reduced overs? He went on to make 31 runs and bet was resulted as a loss. I'm just curious as to what they deem as a bet already determined.

My understanding is that had he gone out prior to when they came off, the bet should stand as a loss. I'm just finding it difficult to see why it should not be void given he was not out at the time they came off, changing the game significantly when they came back on the field

Do they mean prior to reduction or up to and including revised overs as this gives them a significant edge surely?

If it's the latter, how the heck do they work out unders in cases like that? Surely bet should be void the moment reduction of 3 overs are implemented to avoid confusion.

Your interpretation sounds correct to me - have you queried and referenced the rule?

Queried and referenced the above mentioned ruling. Eventually got refunded but very disconcerting that no explanation was provided.

Had a Couch/Denly moment in the first ODI. Got paid out at 7/2 for a bowler - 8 overs - 0 for 41 - Love it

Was the Moody Blues who sang "Isn't Life Strange" - May have been referring to cricket odds. Australia win the first ODI by 10 wickets with 12 overs to spare and - believe it or not - are the underdogs for the second ODI. The only credible explanation is the books either believe or know the sport is fixed.
I have faith in the integrity of chaps like Smith and Warner so am taking
