so did riveting R4

An early one for me for Saturday.

Race 3 - Devilish Dancer @ 20/1 (WSB)
1st run showed nothing and drifted off the board. Hewitson stays on board and has a decent record with stable. Drawn in Pole position and breeding is impecable, by Silvano out of the mare Dancewiththedevil which if my memory serves me right won at graded level. And was lethal over the 1400m to 1600m.
Worth a go at those odds.

My thoughts for The rest of the card.

Race 2 - Al Qaasim @ 14/1 (WSB)
2nd run after gelding and impeccably bread. Will take swingers with Van Damme's Clarkson

Race 3 - Devilish Dancer as above

Race 4 - Illuminate @ 12/1
Very open race.and seldom seems to have a bad race under jockey. Also MR has dropped a bit and on earlier runs to some fav's holds them.

Race 5 - Imperial Ruby @ 20/1
After very promising earlier career seems to have drifted again. Well drawn and hopefully will like step back up after running over shorter last time. Has a bit find to some but if any sort of return to previous form can surprise

Race 6 - War of Athena
Looks hard to beat, if took anything will include Sparkling Water

Race 7 - Second Base @ 7/1
Top 2 in betting look hard to oppose on previous runs, but this one has won well over distance and hopefuly with step up will give 2 fav's a run for there money

Race 8 - Mill Queen @ 10/1 (Hollywood)
Top filly who has come close to beating top filly's Summer Pudding and Anything goes, the later giving her 5.5kg's for a 5.75l beating. Now if you had to put AG in this race sure she would start closer to fav at this weight. Worth ago here

Race 9 - Forever Mine looks hard to oppose

Race 10 - Sea Verscent @ 25/2 (Hollywood)
On debut run holds the favorite Battle Force. Yes SV hasn't trained on but has had excuses as seems temperamental, will give another go.

Race 1 - One day or Day One @ 10/1
Full sister to Brianna who one well on debut, doesn't look like stable elect but could come down to owners.

Race 2 - Fearless Trip @ 7/1
Fav looks hard to beat on run behind Gimme Dat but on breeding this one looks bred for speed, so will give it a go.

Race 4 - Arrendelle @ 5/2
Was good to me last time just missing.

Race 5 - Lucky Dancer @ 14/1

Race 6 - Path to Choice @ 5/1

Last 2 are more old fav's who I have backed before and look like might have a chance.

R9 Pool Party looks a decent place venture at the price

r1 There She Goes put up faster time then the topweight on 02/02(5 (now a huge weight turnaround to boot) then runner up to social image and that went on to run 2nd to Sheela

great thoughts as always lads. Here we go -

T1 There She Goes @ 14/1 ew.
Not here to make up the numbers. Comes in with light mass and solid formlines. Bit of an excuse last time out. Weiho has a small yard these days but when he sends then out they are ready and fit.

T2 Bold Decision 25/1 ew.
No show in 1 run but top owners with a rare runner on highveld. Murray only has a few rides today, long gap to next ride, hopefully not at track early to kick heels for nothing.

T3 Golden Spoon 5/1 ew
Old combo of de Kock and Mawing who used to team up well many moons ago. GS well bred and blinkers strike today.

T4 Annatura 12/1 ew
Coming down nicely in weights, strong course form.

T5 Smokin Hot 13/1 ew.
WK back on board, if she jumps on terms i rate a big chance today, and jock not working himself hard to make 52kg for nothing.

T6 Caraluma 14/1 ew.
Hard to oppose fav but think C will get better over longer trips on breeding.

Morning lads , did some studying and here are my thoughts .

Race 1
The filly Captains Run was disappointing last time , reported not striding and will give her another chance here 7/1 and 8/10 first 3

Race 2
Al Qasam was an expensive yearling , can improve here in a week field , 14/1 and 11/10 first 4 at Holly.

Race 3
Devilish Dancer so well bred , top jock up and blinker strike. Poor debut but hoping she can run on, 25/1 and 3/1 first 4.

Race 4
Making a Scene, might be too far up the ratings still but worth an interest even though I'd hoped for a bit better , 5/1 and 11/10 first 3.

Race 5
Dawn Assault , slowly regaining some form, 33/1 and 9/2 first 4. Good appie and gets some allowance .

Race 6
Miss Elegance to go close , 12/1 and 12/10 a place first 3.

Race 7
Second Base is my fancy here , really liked his last run, malmoos has a real race on his hands with a few more that can challenge , but for me at 13/2 and 12/10 a place top 3.

Race 8
Tierra been so disappointing , think he's lost the will to run. Drawn better today and will include at 25/1 and 28/10 a place , also like Got the Greenlight at 4/1.

Race 9
Double o Eight , still in form and appie rode her well last time, 12/1 and 3/1 first 3.

Race 10
namaqualand .... been punted already but at 11/2 and 13/10 first 3 to get out of it .

A couple of small ones for today, mostly weighted to places.

Race 1 - Regina's Angel @ 33/1 (now 25/1) & Moobheera @ 12/1 (GGG)
Regina's Angel comes in and gets decent draw with stable jock Muzi up. Hoping not to tired after yesterdays celebrations. Lol. 1st run up over C & D wasn't the worse, and gets same Jock up. Last 2 have been disappointing but hopefully drop back will do the trip with Blinkers will help.
Moobheera - 1st run with stable and 1st run at Vaal wasn't bad if in Work Riders. Gets Fourie up and hoping can show something.

Race 2 - Colour of Light @ 12/1
Has had a good few showings over shortest distance and blinkers on with postage stamp in weight, worth a shot again for me.

Race 6 - Peanut Butter @ 33/1 (H/W)
Remember talk about this one last time and it delivered. Strong form line behind Captains Ransom when running 4l behind. Gets what I think is a reasonable weight for 1st time out of maidens. Wide draw a problem but hoping will be flying up outside to win it.
