Le Samyn
One day race around 200km with last 100km being 4 laps of lumpy bumpy with some poorly maintained cobbles. Not a strong field but MvdP is racing with a strong squad and is around evens to win. Not my idea of a cycling bet so going with two guys who could podium ( Will have a beer on the 33/1 and 80/1 win just in case)
E/W 1-3
D van Poppel @ 9/1
J Drucker @ 20/1

Excited for Strade Bianche tomorrow; definitely worth a watch (11 cobbled Gravel sections / even more climbs some at 18% / potential for rain) and the best riders in the world! (Van Aert / MVP / Pogacar / Alaphilippe) will be BRUTAL

I can see Alaphilippe winning (4/1) and Pogacar top 10 finish also looks a good price (@10/11)

But my only bet so far is for Greg Van Avermaet to finish ahead of Davide Ballerini @Evens too sharp climbs i think for Ballerini and Greg suited to the struggle! The Belgian has eight top 10s at Strade Bianche with two second-place finishes!

As kc says above. Definitely worth the watch.
Strade Bianche
184km Lumpy bumpy with white gravel sections. The main - sort the men from the boys - section is Monte Sante Marie which finishes around 40km from the end. That would be the point for an in-play bet. Previous multiple winners are Cancellara with 3 and Kwiatkowski with 2. No top climber has ever won this event.
Up front I am going with
Win
Van Aert @ 15/4
Mollema @ 23/1
and 1-3
Nieuwenhuis @ 66/1

this should be a great race and will be streaming it

I keep changing my mind on the Top3 but the 9/2 Ala at WSB is my 1st bet - strong team and would be a fav if the big 3 hit the final climb together

Working on a match bet acca now

Probably not wise betting against Pogacar but Mollema has been in excellent form this season so risking a few beers. Padding out the match bet with a couple of short odds
Mollema/Pogacar
Alaphilippe/Pidcock
van Avermaert/Wellens
@ 4/1

I should have placed my bet yesterday when I was on MVDP but read too many opinions and went for Ala in the end

As you say KC what a great race - Ala can hold his head high and so can WVA who had his 1st raceday

Watched a stream which was reasonable quality but Supersport have to get this next year - it is fast becoming my fav one day race - strongest man likely to win

No joy with match bets - GVA also dropping me there

Bit off a Wacky Races result here; Turns out Davide Ballerini had actually abandoned during the race, cutting the last 3 cobbled sectors to the finish line in order to look for the Team Bus, as the passed the finish line his transponder falsely marked him as finishing 16th, now amended to DNF so Greg finished 19th and my head to head wins!

Paris Nice Outright
A young Soler snuck off the front a few years ago and won the event so going with a youngster with similar capabilities.
1-3
Powless @ 38/1

Stage 1
Placed before I saw South's post
Bol @ 17/1
and someone who has looked in good form recently and may surprise by jumping with 400m to go
1-3
Haussler @ 50/1
