Springboks v B&I Lions 1st test, Currie Cup Rugby 19-25 July was created by Brent Graham
The Newsletter best bet arrives with Argentina beating Wales and overall a mixed bag for me with my low the Lions failing to score 8 tries against the Stormers and my high Fiji under 1.5 tries.

The big week has arrived and crowds or not the excitement ahead of the Springboks v Lions is building - here is the current betting at WSB

SA 11/10
Draw 25/1
BIL 17/20

There are also 3 Currie Cup games scheduled for Wednesday and 3 more on the weekend.

Here are my handicap projections for Wednesday with WSB early caps in brackets

Lions -9,5 v Griquas (-8.5)
Cheetahs +4.5 v WP (+7.5)
Sharks +5.5 v Bulls (+5.5)

Main difference is the Cheetahs v WP

Very little betting movement on the 1st test - I did see mention of a total points line of 41.5 but can't find anything this morning after a quick check

Cheetahs into +5.5 from +7.5 v WP at WSB
No change Lions game still -8.5 and Bulls game is off

2 midweek Currie Cup games but no points lines as yet

Lions v Griquas betting preview

Lions by 1-12 for smalls

Cheetahs v WP Betting Preview

WP by 1-12 also for smalls

Both handicaps very close to where I set them.

The 1-12 double works out at 7.7/1 and I will have a nibble at that - not a market I usually get involved in but probably can't watch anyway.
