Two first timers one of them backed into 7/2 (Riverstown R900k)
Fav drifting and 2nd run after a rest with a mod jock.
Diedi is consistent enough to place but has a bad draw
Same comments apply to Mamma's Boy
Worth noting both these have attracted competent riders
Gotitall and Quiz Master should show up their odds

Working from home this week so might find some time, I have gone with the following:

Race 2 - Princess Marine @ 11/1(WSB) & Vision of Will @ 16/1

Race 3 - Dawn Raider @ 20/1

Lads , if there is anyone in the UK or Ireland that would be interested in this promotion above please go ahead and open an account . It's a fiver a day and you are able to have your pick on the Punters Competition, there is a 100 Euro/Pound winner every day and a final prize of a 1000 to the winner who accumulates the most points at the end of the week, that being Sunday. Really like him as a roughie. Marshall yard kept him ready in KZN for this, only one other runner that likes to set pace. Think on breeding the 1800m is within reach and that Cape Classic win always sticks in my mind when trouncing a top class field including Linebacker at level weights.

De kock does not put his top 3 yr olds into a race for them to then have a poor run in the form line. All about keeping the big owners happy with progress and @ around 5/2 place, will have an each way go at AS who could still be anything.

R1 Pinkerton @ 12/1 ew.
Hoping can reverse formline of last run with GL on board. On best runs in Cape must go close but hoping the poly is more his game than durban turf.

R10 Sentbydestiny 17/2 ew
Poorly away last run, stayed on nicely. Expecting a better showing today and might enjoy extra.

Just some quick selections for me,

Race 1 - Guru's Pride @ 8/1 & Pinkerton @ 12/1
GP = Has excellent record on Poly and whilst out at weights think the he stands a good chance
Pinkerton = one I have followed and on run behind Rainbow Bridge, getting weight from some of the favored horses. First time on poly but if takes could surprise

Race 2 - Captain Oupie @ 16/1
Top sprint horse and hoping finds form from before spell in Isolation in Cape Town

Race 3 - Aunty Lizzy @ 14/1
Well drawn and won nicely first time.

Race 4 - Dockofthebay @ 14/1
Stable always bring youngsters to Durban ready. Won nicely first time and 2nd run was impressive behind some more than decent sprinters.

Race 5 - Just for Laughs @ 16/1 & Splash of Green @ 33/1
JFL = Following from last run
SG = Nice win last time over distance and run against some decent sorts.

Race 6 - Starrywinternight @ 25/1
Last 2 runs have been moroe than decent. Ran only half a length behind Rain in Holland over distance. On breeding should also like. Draw a big concern but who knows

Race 7 - Doublemint @ 25/1

Race 8 - Kasimir @ 6/1 & Bohinca @ 15/1

Race 10 - Jasmine @ 40/1
Ran really well over 2400m last time and think will like this distance, could surprise
