Most sentiment I have seen is for a Boks win but no really betting movements from what I can see

Currie Cup handicaps are out, I may have missed the original prices but here is how current caps compare to mine - WSB in brackets to the right)

Lions -5.5 v Pumas (-7.5)
WP +8.5 v Bulls (+7.5)
Sharks -14.5 v Griquas (-12.5)

No obvious early value for me

Francois Kleynhans and Willie Engelbrecht out injured. Two big Pumas players. The Lions might actually cover a handicap this weekend.

Has Rassie lost the plot?
He won folk over during his time at Munster but he's lost many of us now.

Nothing I enjoy more than a 5m lineout after 60 seconds and the dickhead throws it in at a right angle.
I hate overs betting.

And the first scrum took 2 mins to set. 2 fucking minutes.

Evening young man. I can tell from your comments you are relatively new to sports betting and I would hate for a fellow punter to become a Bookmakers Delight so let me give you two bits of advice.
1) Know your match officials - I would have halved my bet if the whistle and TV was reversed.
2) Know the ground/wicket/track/pool - yes even swimming pools have different speeds. This match was at Newlands. An 80% unders ground.

The very best of luck for you in the future

Yes of course
I am BIL all the way.
Agree there were some poor calls on Saturday -Watson tip tackle was a cast certain Card.
Willie was unlucky.
Yeah - Most 50/50's went our way.

Don't care who wants to play waterboy -clever I say.
Some of this has been kicked off by Gatland who has plenty of previous pre match wagging.
World Rugby have fucked up too.
Eddie Jones also deflects attention from players pre match but I have more time for Rassie and don't think he needs to do this. The players are good enough and he's a good enough man manager to play a different motivational hand.

I coach U9 girls GAA and I swear I could fill a 1hr you
tube with post match comments every Sunday.
But it won't help my girls.

Anyhow - hope we have a cracking match on the morrow!

This might be out of line with the forum but I feel like I should say that Chiefie I think you need to tone it down with the excessive negative posts day after day when your bets are losing. I’ve enjoyed reading this forum over the last few years but at the moment it feels like about 50% of the posts are you raging about bets that are losing/have lost and it doesn’t feel like it’s healthy for you.

I’m also mainly saying it from a worry that it cant be doing you any good - it doesn’t sound like you’re enjoying it based on the posts and everyone knows that betting can be a dangerous environment in that situation. Maybe just food for thought, and apologies if it sounds like I’m interfering in something that’s nothing to do with me.

Been mulling over whether this whole Rassie/Kolisi business will have the Boks ultra focused or lead to some sort of implosion of emotion with cards galore and a brutal first half with Lions piling on the points as the match goes.
Intriguing subplot but probably over thinking it so think will be similar story to last week, Lions are ultimately fitter so will win by 6-10 points seeing game out last 20 mins fairly easily.

Lions to win evens
Beirne last try 25/1
Marx last try 16/1

I've taken the following:

Bet 1: Over 41.5 points @1.90, bet365
Bet 2: Team total Points - SA Over 20.5 @1.90, bet365
Bet 3: Dan Biggar to score 12 or more points @ 2.00
Bet 4: Handre Pollard to score 12 or more points @ 2.00
Bet 5: Dan Biggar & Handre Pollard to score 10 or more points each @ 2.40

Pollard and Biggar were very kind to me in the first match, so I'm taking them again at sportsbet.

Only the two games today .

Sharks game has me a little confused , been impressed by the Griquas but always worry about them when travelling , prepared to give them the benefit today and on plus 13.5, so with that the under's is my bet as well as around 58.5 for less though as it is a day game afterall.

Later on I am firing under 3.5 tries at 11/10, also going to get involved with unders at 41.5 for smaller and then play accordingly as the game progresses with unders .

Overall I think the B and I lions will win and will be laying the Boks with the draw my favour on Betfair.

On a diff note I really love Chiefie and his rants , I also am known to have had a few , but I thought his were hilarious and assumed that it wasn't quite as bad as Chiefie made out financially , so yeah , might not be everyone's taste I understand , but Chiefie please come back ;)

Coil, my number 1 fan! Hey hey.

So the rants are more to try and turn the tide on losing bets, a reverse psychology trick for myself if you will, and apologies, it’s not fair for everyone else - but works sometimes. Anyway, this isn’t the forum for that.

Went overs on points last week, lost by 3. So lost the bet and the game - double whammy.

So gutted they playing in Cape Town, heavy pitch and not conducive for free flowing rugga.

Enjoy Coil, come on bokke!

Went over 41.5 points again, lost by 6. Just a sucker for punishment, softened by the blow of the win. Next week, I’m going unders, but then we all know what happens next…
