We know how time consuming and difficult form study is.Results are based on ability and form and it is so as we express that horses don't know their prices So does the betting really assign a proper price for a horse?
Are the people who decide really qualified and genuine?
What is your opinion

With Kenilworth throwing up soft ground reguarly at this time of year and Vaal and Turffontein the exact opposite I much prefer KZN in these months. Imo it's not easy to get out of the maidens in KZN even with a young horse of reasonable ability and some of the analysts comments regarding "shallow fields" are perhaps a bit harsh.
A number of trainers seem to be running some of their horses with increasing regularity at Vaal / Turff. If that's what the owners want to do so be it but for me it can make punting many races in those centres less appealing right now so roll on spring time.

Alma Mater coming in well prepped has a good draw and energetic rider.Place prospect and a must for quartets
Tenacious Time Good last run a little unexposed, frontrunner and will put up a top effort
Murphy's Station another front runner, also unexposed but did put up a slower time then TT 11/23 this track and distance. Not fully settled then, has had two short breaks and came back with a more fluid action. Will be fitted with a compression mask.Poor draw!

Fancy an improved run, has won at course before and issues last run when beaten favourite. Drier yard has had a good August so far.

I have gone with the following. (Follow with Caution as had abysmal run of form, couldn't hit a barn door yesterday from 1m)
Race 1 - Frosted Ice @ 20/1
Decent work rider and had some fair runs course and distance.
Race 2 - Force of Arms @ 33/1 & Jazz City @ 25/1
Going with a stable who has been good to me with 1st timers.
Force of Arms - Well bred and I like Act of War's. Siblings have bth been above average so hoping can pop up
Jazz City - COuld be stable elect due to Jocks. Dame was a fair sprinter
Race 5 - Twelve Oaks @ 16/1
Had excellent run last time and gets top Jock up.
Also like the Fortune Youngster but will wait to hope get a better price nearer to off.
Race 9 - Golden Tune @ 66/1
Huge drop in merit rating, and gets top jock in Zackey up. Well drawn and hoping can pop up
ENjoy the day
