THE RYDER CUP
Some of my thoughts with a few early out rights. May I mention again I am not a tipster - pretend you heard me in a pub mentioning my bets.
- John Rahm is the best golfer in the world today and he will probably play all five matches.
- Morikawa has won two of the last six majors. I believe he is under priced here.
- Garcia has scored the most Ryder Cup points - period.
- With the travel ban the USA will get 98% support so they have to be favored.
Top USA Rookie
Morikawa @ 4/1
Top Combined Points Scorer
Rahm @ 7/1
Top Wild Card
Garcia @ 8/1
Margin of Victory
USA by 4-6 @ 15/4
Top USA Points Scorer
Morikawa @ 10/1
and an odds based pick. Only 3 Euro rookies so have to take these odds
Top Euro Rookie
Wiesberger @ 13/2

USA 3-1 @ 15/4
and a few beers
USA 4-0 @ 15/1 (Taken as a four match acca which gives the better odds)
Wondering about that 16/10 on Mcilroy/Poulter - The kind of pairing that could be extremely annoying and upset the USA.

Morikawa and Schauffele to win their matches against Hovland and Rory at 5/2
Also taken 21/10 Wiesberger/Koepka - Wiesberger been under raced in my opinion and yesterday may have taken a toll on Brooks physically

Putt did me as well. Fell from Top USA rookie to dead heat. Got same dead heat on the Garcia wild card and made small profit on the Rahm out right by taking DJ @ 11/20 on last day.
I think the paucity of Europe supporters was keenly felt and, as a result, the USA crowd got a little out of hand which spoilt it for me. Footballers and many other sports people are used to being booed but not so golfers and I think it showed.
