I enjoyed one of my better weekends with virtually everything arriving. The Newsletter Best Bet Wales +9.5 came home smoking and only France failing to reach 33 points cost us the double digit acca.

While a good weekend I cannot help but think what might of been as took a 15/1 acca on Saturday for about 3 times my usual stake. The 1st 4 legs arrived and it ended on France o32.5

I took some +33.5 cover to ensure a small profit. They were always behind but only needed a converted try in the last 10 minutes and it looked likely to come at the end before a careless knock on and then the decision (correct one but they teased me) to go for posts. Had they scored and converted I would have hit the acca and the cover bet.

On we roll though and there is loads of televised international rugby this weekend - I also suspect there could be some local rugby but can find no info so could be wrong

Here are the televised fixtures with my projected handicaps (some wild guesses in there) and to the right in brackets the actual handicaps if available

Scotland +6.5 v SA
Italy +12.5 v Argentina
Ireland +8.5 v New Zealand (+10.5)
England -4.5 v Australia
France -34.5 v Georgia
Wal -15.5 v Fiji (-11.5)

There is also Bunnings NPC semis

Agree South it screams out 1-12

Some more handicaps out in brackets to the right of mine

Scotland +6.5 v SA (+6.5)
Italy +12.5 v Argentina (+10.5)
Ireland +8.5 v New Zealand (+10.5)
England -4.5 v Australia (-12.5)
France -34.5 v Georgia (-37.5)
Wal -15.5 v Fiji (-11.5 now moved to -13.5)

Big difference in the England v Aus game and I will have to give that some though

Big move in Italy v Argentina cap with Italy +7.5 from 10.5 and I believe Argentina could be rotating their squad

No other significant movement

My first post in probably 5 years - but also capped the Eng Aus game at c. 4-5 points i think 12 is too much assuming no large squad rotations in the wallaby team.

Surely a 4 way accumulator and/or yankee with Arg/Eng/RSA/NZ by 1-12 is a big runner?

I've already taken a fat accumulator on those four to win @ 2.90 with Sunbet. My best of the weekend.
But I'll follow that up with your suggestion as soon as our 1-12 lines appear. And I'll do another with NZ 13+, just in case.

Thanks for the suggestion Bundalo :) :beer

Taken o40.5 in scots/boks which I think is 4-5 points too low given it'll be good conditions. Boks defence obviously good however don't see too many less points than a 25-15 type of game. Bet will always be a runner.

Ireland points have opened at 19.5 which I am following on from Chris on the show, cmon Leinster!

Taking England 1-21 (1.75, TAB), was tossing up taking the plus however I think this is better value (I don't see any value in a play in the minus - was thinking plus or no bet). I have not been convinced by the Wallabies on the road so far and missing personnel (Tupou and Kerevi) in particular have been way too integral to them playing well in the rugby champ. England should win but not by 20+.

added more overs in Eng/Aus match @ 44.5 @ 5/6, purely as thought 46.5 was good, 44.5 even better.

Honda lads ,

Tricky game in Rome, I prefer Italy on plus 10.5 but if the Pumas get a foothold it'll be lucky to land.

Love Ireland on the plus , there is 12.5 at 5/7 and will be my largest bet of the weekend.

Scotland were my original choice and the more I think about it the more I doubt it, Australia should have beaten them last week and the cap would have been a few more points in favour of Scotland.
So for me just a tickle on the minus 4.5 at 8/10

I prefer England on the cap here and will line up the minus 9.5 at a shade over 7/10 for a firm strike.

Play well

in France many bettors are on Georgia over 7.5 pts. Their team is made up of a lot of players who play in the top 14.

Nice Brent and also had a great end to weekend after an earlier blip on a frustrating France.

Fiji are turning into a force. Forwards no longer a weak link at all, big investment in coaching last few years paying serious dividends.

RWC2023 prediction - they beat Wales in pool stages to qualify for quarter finals.
