Pleasantly surprised with Spurs on Sunday. Highest XG of the season.

I was bored so I wrote down a few thoughts about the coming football games. That’ll maybe give a few people something to read in these low betting days.

PSV-Eagles: PSV by far the best team, with a great season so far after their early CL exit, but Eagles over-perform away from home. I don’t see a blow out, and actually I would not touch this game with a ten-foot-pole.

Liverpool-Leeds: Leeds on a very bad run, with a lot of injured players too. Bielsa’s style of football plays right in Liverpool’s favour so this smells goals galore. Leeds could maybe even get on the scoresheet with a few key players sidelined for the home team. But Liverpool should take it home quite comfortably.

Norwich-Arsenal: two whole different dynamics here, with the home team on their proper way to relegation, while Arsenal seem to beat everyone placed below them in the table. The odds are however very low, so better use Arsenal in some form of acca.

Spurs-Crystal Palace: Tottenham are very much on form but they were pleased to meet teams who enjoyed possession, so they could hit them on the counter attack. This won’t be the case here and Crystal Palace are solid in the midfield and at the back. I wouldn’t back Spurs here, and maybe unders could be the thing…

City-Leicester: Leicester with a near full squad losing in heartbreaking fashion at Anfield in the cup, meets high flying City at Etihad. I can’t see anything else than a clear City win.

Beware of Covid cases and maybe wait until kick off to place bets.
