A nice start for the newsletter Best Bet with the Cheetahs and WP win double arriving with some ease. Full marks as well to the Conductor who nailed the Currie Cup on Thursdays edition of #TheHandicap and links to our You Tube Channel as well as the Newsletter sign up page below.

On a personal note it was a poor weekend and having battled early with a loss on Bulls over 4.5 tries and Cheetahs v Griquas over 50.5 points I got slightly ahead with wins on Exeter overs and WP overs only to take a big knock on the Bears minus against Stade Francais who just never went away.

MIDWEEK CURRIE CUP
Anyways I only have to wait till midweek for an opportunity to strike back against the bookies as there are 3 Currie Cup games - here are my projected handicaps - warning team selection will be huge especially with the SA teams involved in the URC this weekend.

Golden Lions -4.5 v Pumas - The Lions are not playing URC players and I was quite impressed with them against WP who were more experienced
Sharks -5.5 v Griquas - a bit of a guess but Sharks depth will be stretched by URC
WP -3.5 v Bulls - both teams have depth but I may be way out on the cap here

Good luck to the bookies pricing this up

URC - SA TEAM RETURN
There are 2 SA derbies on Saturday

Lions +6.5 v Sharks - once again not confident here as both teams have had a long layoff
Bulls -9.5 v Stormers - see Lions v Sharks

We also have a full house of Heineken Cup matches to look forward to.

Have taken all handicaps in favour of home teams against French opposition. Especially like Leicester -5.5 vs Bordeaux and Glasgow +1.5 vs La Rochelle. Hoping for another Montpellier/Toulouse away performance.

Got a heads up from the Conductor that Betx have priced up on Currie Cup

WP 12/10 vs bulls 6/10
Lions -4.5 vs pumas
Sharks -3.5 vs Griquas

Mai difference from mine is I had WP favourites but in a lot of doubt about the teams still

in opposite camp re La Rochelle - big pack, ball-in hand on synthetic pitch in Glasgow just like their own ground. Clear dry night. The way Glasgow crumbled 2nd half a big concern for me.

La Rochelle win @ 5/6

Seems to have been a bit of money for the Sharks with Lions stable

Bulls points at 31.5 on ladbrokes, ridiculous - total pts also at 52.5. Have gone overs on both. At 35.5 and 60.5 everywhere else. Points in Durban at 55.5, no bet for me.

sneaked home!!

Lions looked like they've barely practiced together. And Lions 21, wannabe-Faf, mucking about with ball spinning around in hand zero urgency at scrums to at least try and get his side a consolation. Coach-killer.

Greetings from Ireland. Haven't posted in a good while. Hope everyone is keeping well.

Let's talk about the URC outright odds.i don't really get them at all. Look everyone knows Leinster have serious depth, that's cool. I really think the second best team in the competition might be the Sharks. The sharks at full strength vs Leinster would be a right good game.

So when I look at the outright odds and see Sharks 25/1 and Munster 5/1 and ulster 6/1, I just don't get it but I don't live where ye do and I'd love your opinion. I'd fancy Sharks on a neutral field against both of those.

Sharks and Bulls are both 25/1. I'd have Sharks pretty strong favourites to win SA conference. What am I missing about Bulls? Sharks handled them easily enough a few weeks ago.

Any info greatly appreciated.

I agree Sharks are capable of winning this although Bulls team is also strong. Must confess I don't have a handle on the format so will look deeper into that tonight.

Unfortunately there was no URC betting to talk about on last nights show so will try and get another video out before the 2 local derbies

24-17 USA wins. Linesman misses a clear foot in touch by the USA with 2mins to go. USA go and score off the resulting lineout. A million penalties by the retarded Portuguese ref and it’s a loss.

Cool. Cool.

Interesting thoughts. At the price alone, with some key players still to come back, and NH sides focusing a bit more on champions cup and also six nations distraction, Im tempted in for an interest.

Sharks outright @ 25/1
