What a great weekend of rugby and a pretty good one punting wise for me with the Loftus unders and England o16.5 my big wins. Italy o7.5 capped a good weekend. The stand out loss was the Sharks points and they also let the Newsletter Best Bet down – what a disappointment

Well done to Chris who nailed all 3 6 Nations preview picks.

Onto this weekend and here are my projected Six Nations and URC (Local derby) handicaps – I suspect 6 Nations are out but will do mine before I check

Wales +3.5 v Scotland
France -4.5 v Ireland
Italy +25.5 v England

Getting a bit bored with the local URC derbies – my projected caps
Lions +6.5 v Stormers
Bulls -5.5 v Sharks

Sexton is out with a groin injury for the clash vs France. Bookies quickly react and the spread is now at 5 pts. Tbh I don’t regard Sexton as such a big threat anymore, and I didn’t think he was that good vs Wales. Not saying France won’t win that one, but the spread is going the right way for Ireland backers.

I like Bulls to cover and have taken -3.5 at 9/10 and -1.5 at 15/20.

Originally fancied Stormers but Tshituka is a big addition for the Lions.

Going with a Bulls / Stormers double at 13/10.

Like Bristol to cover and have taken -6.5.

France v Ireland - over 39.5pts @ 5/6

This line is too low in my view. Good surface, dry, Angus a great ref for overs, keeps tempo up all game.

u20 six nations been a great tournament to punt recent years. Had a good start last weekend and like 1 tonight -

Fra v Ire over 49.5 pts @ 0.87/1

Clear night, pitch is synthetic so should be good for 2 sets of decent backlines. Fra scored 45 last week and Ireland over 50.

Fancying Glasgow tonight, think they have the stronger pack and at home hard to beat.
Glasgow win @ 1.91

Swimming against the tide perhaps, but can't ignore Scot's poor record in Cardiff.
Wales + 3.5 @ 1.83

Lastly a speculative play on PP Power Price double
Wales by 1-10 & France by 1-10 @ 13

Interesting exotic today in Lions vs Stormers game:
Drop goal yes @ 6
Tiaan Swanepoel not scared of having a pot from anywhere in an opponent's half. ..was very close with a drop attempt in the first half of last week's game.

Hiya lads , here is blog from the UK

blog.hollywoodbets.co.uk/sport/gallagher-round-15-preview/

It's round 16 of course , but editor made a mistake.

I'm all over Ireland like a cheap pair of knickers , I'm beginning to think that the Scottish game is a potential banana peel . Main bet there will be unders at 42.5 .

England should beat the cap easily . Italy in general getting hammered more at home than away.

Exeter unders at 46.5 and Sale on the minus .

Massive knock for me on the Lions - that was a disgraceful performance - how the 9, 15 and coach are involved at this level I have no idea - awful call, awful bet

Need the Sharks overs now and have pressed over 23.5 at Sunbet

Definitely an error so I hope you went massive enough to warrant them closing down your account afterwards lol

Given England's first half handicap is sitting at around 12.5, there is no ways their first half points can be justified at 9.5, I think it is meant to be around the 18.5 point mark!

Ahhhh so what they've done is to keep the bet but have reduced the odds to 1/3 from 10/11 :-)
