Cycling w/c 20 Feb : UAE Tour and Other

Road cycling has been running for a few weeks but the first really big name race kicks off tomorrow.

UAE Tour
Seven stages. Four sprint stages with
Stage 3 9km ITT
Stage 4 Mountain finish
Stage 7 Mountain finish

Pogs the favorite by a country mile but the Russian has looked good in the early season.
Sam Bennett has not raced yet this season so a shot in the dark

Same as Stage 1. Liked the way Bennett came through yesterday. Just did not look like the legs were there yet. May consider a large run at him on Stage 5 or 6 but smalls again for tomorrow

Was surprised to hear Bennett had not contested a bunch sprint since May last year with his team and physical problems. Probably give him a few weeks to get up to speed.

UAE Stage 3

9km ITT
Ganna probably a lock and pick any of half a dozen time trialists to fill the podium. A typical No-Bet stage. If I'm watching I need a little something on it so a single cold one on

Kocking up a little mountain tomorrow. Still early season so bets remain small. Have to think Pogs after that ITT today but odds too short even for a small bet

Final stage finishes with 10.8km climb at 6.6%. Last km and a bit not that bad. I'm thinking same finish as stage 4 which gives me the highest odds on
