What a stage this should be - we will know all we need to regarding the Top 10 after today.

I reckon Jumbo throw everything they have at Pogi today, especially the Primoz tempter later on. Unfortunately for them I 1. Dont think Roglic is strong enough after his crash and 2. Reckon Tadej is at the top of his powers atm. I expect the champ to start struggling next week given his lack of team strength but at the minute he is flying!

Don't see anything other than a Pogi win but will go with a sneaky Woods nibble at 33/1 and big Joe Dombrowski at 66/1.

Main play in the matches for this one so double stakes on:
G Thomas over Primoz - 11/10
Vlasov over Pidcock (hoping the back is 99%) - 27/20
Yates over Gaudu - 11/10
Uran over Pinot (Tnibaut is win or bust) - 9/4

Jeez I am amazed your book did not offer you 10/1 in play across all your stakes yesterday Brent. Just could not believe you came up empty.
On today's stage I think GC has a better then even chance of contesting the finish on the basis that it will be very difficult for climbers to get away early. Like Couch I am going for the match bets today

Tour de France Stage 11

Rolland @ 150/1
I also fancy this bet as called by Couch because tomorrow is Bastille Day and a little matter of Alpe D' Huez

No betting interest for me but did manage to watch live for a change and man what a final climb, never seen Pogacar struggle like that.

Around 3/1 outright now - any of the tdf gurus think he can bounce back? Was untouchable a few days ago!

Wow Pogi suffered bad but jeez commentator mentioned his lights going out about a dozen times - poor bugger. Really didn't see that coming yesterday already. Will be interesting to see how he bounces back.

Break should have a great shot though Jumbo must surely push one more time to try and put Pogi out of it completely.

Still a bit miffed that bloody Yates got hauled in by Gaudu who looked cooked early doors. Needed that one to make it a good day.

But I will go again (as always!).
Only a die hard climber willing to go deep into the hurt zone can get it done today so nibbles on:
Uran 66/1
Mollema 80/1
Rolland 200/1

Matches:
Vingegaard over Pogi 8/10
Following Brent on Meintjies over Pidcock

Perfect read on the Pinot/Uran bet with Pinot getting the day off and Madouas and Storer on duty. Absolutely no idea what Uran was doing - he could have ridden himself into top 10 contention.

Match bets look the way to go today. Noticed that Ewan was way off the back day before yesterday and is on the start line now courtesy of the demonstrators. Uphill start today could be a problem.

A couple for me today.

Caleb Ewan @ 33/1 E/W (Sunbet)
I just think that maybe he will have a shot today if it is a bunch sprint.

R Van Rensburg @ 300/1 E/W (Sunbet)
If I remember correctly he isnt the worse sprinter and maybe if Ewan doesnt get to the finish, he has been known to get into breaks and if gets a chance might surprise.

My main bet is Sagan/Pederson @ evens

Enjoy the racing after a couple of hectic mountains

So in-play Kron makes the last four split yesterday and is then taken out by a front wheel puncture. Today looks like we could go in-play again.

Tour de France 2nd Rest Day
Durn Wout cost me every bet on stage 15 by ensuring the break was only two riders.Fortunately I had nowhere near the confidence level I had on the Alpe D Huez stage so much smaller losses.
Rest day bet logic
I recall the stage 20 ITT two years ago. Tommy D, who has won a grand tour and a few final ITT's in Grand Tours had ridden a brilliant ITT and was leading. Pogs, who looked cooked the day before when he was unable to follow Roglic in a mountain top finish, came out looking fresh as a daisy and blitzed Tommy D by 1m 21s over 36km.There was a climb in the stage but, should he arrive at the start line this Saturday in that exact same shape, he is taking a minute plus off a tiring Vingegaard. Looking at whats left of UAE and Jumbo Visma teams I think the UAE team is much stronger in the mountains and I don't think the GC is over by a long shot.

Getting to that frustrating stage where stakes get bigger and bigger as I try and fight out of what is becoming a TdF hole!

Today is the real deal and in the last week class usually shines thru.

Pinot, Caruso, Martinez, Uran , Vlasov and Mollema are top dogs who are surely only hanging in for that stage win.

Of these there is Danny M who could be on team duty and I can't trust TB downhill. Caruso just a touch too short for me.
Uran 40/1
Vlasov 33/1

Looking at a match bet today. I think there is every chance that Jumbo will continue with their tactic of using Wout to ensure the break is of no threat at all. So it is going to be very difficult to get into the break. If I look at that Jungels/Powless match-up I think Powless has shown more ability at making breaks so I rate this match as evens.

Win
Konrad @ 28/1
Kron @ 40/1 (Hopefully he gets a reliable bike today)

I have gone with the following:

Rolland @ 200/1
Jorgenson @ 80/1
Followed you with Pidcock.

My major play is Yates over Gaudu, hoping the cooler weather helps and he can take some, but @ 5/2 think worthwhile, considering they are the strongest team left.

Hi

Thanks for the tips Brent.

I followed with Jonas over Pogacar yesterday and hollywood bets decided it was a loss so i used there customer support function and they refuse to even listen, they state the Pogacar beat Jonas and won the stage. It is ridiculous, I have the live chat transcript its actually laughable. They really should get people who know sport a little bit.

Anyone have anyoone I can contact about this?

Many thanks
