Wow who would have bet on all 4 N Hem teams leveling their series? This had cumulative odds of around 230/1

My main bet was Ireland on the plus and this ensured a profit for our weekly newsletter play ( Sign up and join us in the battle against the bookies) but I only finished ahead thanks to a late in running play in the Boks game.

Having lost on Aus I was on overs and Wales overs and basically dead and buried. With around 15 min remaining and the Wales trailing by 9 points I had visions of them making the Boks pay for not taking their chances and took a decent bet on Wales at 9/1. I am not sure I really believed but was just so annoyed at the game and that seemed my only hope to get out of it. That final conversion was a beaut.

Anyways onto this week and here are the current handicaps and my early view at Sunbet

New Zealand -9.5 v Ireland - leaning Ireland plus, I think this one is going to the wire

Australia -1.5 v England - no feel, have lost on both games and also been unable to watch both games

Boks -12.5 v Wales - leaning Boks

Argentina -1.5 v Scotland - what happened to Argentina? Leaning the home team.

NZ maori v Ireland tomorrow from wellington, 8:05am UK kick off.

Weather doesnt look great, but points line sitting at 45.5.

Seems low, regardless of weather conditions.

What do we think - feels overs all day right?

Lumped on Ireland plus 2.5 , they were poor in that first game , think the renewed energy in the camp will run through to the second stringers. A lot of rain about , def an unders game for me as I feel the defence from Ireland won't be caught napping , will need to confirm weather in the morning but if it's wet I feel the quick ball that the Maoris enjoyed in that first game will be nullified .

Going 2nd half more points 1/1. Expect both sides to take a bit of time to get used to the conditions and 2nd half to open up.

Tbh I think the unders bet might be the way to go here at 60ish - I can't see Scotland putting up much of anything and can Ireland really score 50+ in that heat?

Terrible match to watch and that Maori flyhalf that only kicks 10 meters and misses every conversion made the morning even more challenging.

I took Ireland -25.5, I don’t trust these Scots as they let in 55 against Georgia. Ireland should be four tries better.

This under 20 tournament has been great to punt. Looking for one final bet tonight -

Wales + 18 @ 10/11

Boks have beaten the much better sides in their tough pool, but this Wales side are a physical match in some areas that likes of Ireland and England were not. This ground hasn’t been as good as the one Boks were based at in terms of attacking play which might negate some of the Bok flyers.

Baby Boks the far more dangerous side, just think 18 points is too big for this final.

Re Saturday's game:

Wales have been an absolute cash cow for me over the last couple of weeks and I can't see any reason to change tune now.

Line sitting around 11.5 or 12.5 (might blow out a bit if Dillon Lewis not fit, as Wales will then have 2 rookie tightheads) but for some reason Unibet have it at 16.5

Wales +16.5 @ 1.90

Watching some of this U20 rugby today and I must tell you - There is no safe total points line. The defense is virtually non-existent at this level.

Wales v RSA
Total points over 59.5 @ 9/10

yeah, i've made good money on every one of the SA games this tournament. Flipped on them for first time and took Wales plus, painful decision as should have stuck with gut, they truly are a level above at this age group.

Still early in the week but have gone early on the NZ and SA games. Both teams are under real local pressure to come good and are being actively discredited in the media. Coaches, captains, star players. Historically, they come good in situations like these.

NZ -4.5 HT - fast start for a change
SA -11.5 FT - should finish strong with Biggar & props in doubt.

Australia A -18.5 v Tonga

With the exception of 25mins vs Samoa last week Tonga has not looked good in the last 3 years  Players are rotating for Tonga this week I suspect testing some depth but also "saving themselves" for the world cup qualifier next week. Australia A is playing an unchanged squad taking this game seriously while Tonga seemly has already written this one off.

Expecting an avalanche of points for Australia A so I will take my shot here.

Australia A -18.5 main bet
Australia A -25.5
Australia A spread 41-50
Australia A 51+
Australia A -8.5 HT

He had an orgy booked with the elders, so had to go and get changed.

Called it early and they just blew the first half early in the Fiji and Samoa game too.

3 points shy on my fh points bet. What a joke.

Fiji 5m line out to win the game. Throw it over the back by 40m, Samoa regather and kick it out to win. Another losing points bet.

I hope they revert back to their elders days and just bloody eat each other so we don’t have to watch this mindless rugby.

Aaaaand with that, Irish profits down the toilet to useless Aussie bullshit. Never will they have a more ripe chance to end their hoodoo against the Poms. All this talks about Rennie being a properly great coach surely has to be under the microscope a bit!

Uruguay vs Romania

Last week Romania beat Uruguay 30-22 playing with one man down from the first half.
Now they want to win again and to have an improved performance, they want to avoid the mistakes made in the first test, they saw how hard it was to play with one man down.

Bet 1: Romania +3.0 @1.83
Bet 2: Over 46.5 points @1.79
