Took a decent stab on NZ outright at 1.08/1 for Saturday - Honestly not sure why it mostly seems confidence is on us for the opener. If you just go off the six nations, Ireland should have given any team in the world problems. Conversely Wales scored the second fewest points and allowed the third most. NZ scored 76 points in 3 games against an Irish team that allowed 63 in the 5 games in the six nations. Granted a lot of those came in the first match. And if you just look at the July form, it's not like we won the series by miles. I just think NZ will be looking to go guns blazing after their last two games.

I'm by no means saying we're bad. We're not. We're playing some great rugby. But I just feel everybody is counting out NZ for some reason and at that price, after a home series loss, I'm taking it all day.

Also, not sure how much stock everyone puts in refs, but the opener is being reffed by Angus Gardner. In South Africa we have lost 3/4 he's officiated.

Totally understand why there’s a strong view re All Blacks bouncing back. Can also see why there’s money for Boks.

For me it’s points markets - hoping bookies see this playing out as a forwards battle and price up a lowish line, as I’ll be firing overs if comes in around Mid to high 40’s. Gardener been golden on points for most of last few years. Clear conditions and a brand new lovely playing surface.

I like an overs bet - it feels a positive thing wanting any side to score. But I've been burned quite a few times in the recent past so I'm going with a straight SA win. Surely that pack will be enough to get the job done?!

Canterbury -18.5 at 19/20 for me 1st up.

Wrestled a lot with this game as I normally like taking Canterbury on and Turbos were impressive last year, lead by Brett Cameron. I can't look past that Canterbury team though. Basically a Superrugby team. And a new coach at the helm. I also think the Turbos will miss Jamie Booth a lot. IMO a lot of how good Cameron was last year was thanks to Jamie Booth.

Not breaking the bank on this one as I have stronger fancies in other games this weekend.

No worries at all South I was going there anyway and line moved to 49.5 after

Briliant from the Oraclr - I see a missed call from him - no doubt booking his spot on next weeks show ?

Yeah was confident after it moved to 49.5 and 50.5 in places. Thankfully made a full recovery on Aus Arg game.

Aus in Aus looks like a possible tougher assignment for Boks.
