These two countries will play two friendlies. In the first one Australia will use the European-based players in order to allow them to return to their clubs ahead of fixtures the following weekend.

This will be Australia's farewell game before going to the World Cup.
New Zealand lost the qualifying play-off against Costa Rica, 0-1, so they are hurting and may look to bounce back here.

This match marks 100 years of Australian national soccer team, and the first match was played in Dunedin against New Zealand.

I think we'll see some goals, but obviously Australia is the better team, not only in world rankings (Australia is 30 something and New Zealand is outside top 100), but players quality as well.

Teams met three months ago and Israel won 2-1 away. Expect Israel to get two or three at home and their defense is not great so worth a dip at the odds against.

New Zealand vs Australia

A few days ago these two countries played in Melbourne and Australia won 1-0, fielding their best squad.
New Zealand had quite a few very good chances to score, but the Australian goalie, Matt Ryan was very good, or the New Zealanders just missed.
This time the Australian coach will make wholesale changes, with at least seven new players to be given a start. He will try many youngsters today.
Therefore I expect more goals, as the Australian team game relationships will not be as gelled.
