Still looking at the card but on collateral form and weight turnarounds I really like Patons Tears in Race 8

Race 5 - Laguna Verde @ 11/2
Followed last year and some more than decent ones behind the top one from Durban in Cousin Casey. Also been Gelded which I hope makes a difference. Could get bigger come race time but worth a shot for me.
Race 4 - None Other @ 16/1
On breeidng looks like could want further, but a couple of decent runs behind Mahranee over distance, and if you put a line through last where course might not have suited, worth ago.
Will post anything else I like tomorrow

Yeah I also like Prophet, but think the 3kg swing could swing it in favour of Laguna Verde.

Race 1 - Streets Ahead @ 25/1
Had 1 run C & D and wasnt bad. Got light mass which always helps over distance. Will take swingers with Fav Skyjet
Race 3 - Taikonout @ 5/2 & Flowerbomb @ 10/1
Taikonout - Looks above average and at weights could go close.
Flowerbomb - No weight and not that exposed. Had 2 good last runs, finishing just behind the highy thought of Time fo Orchids.
Race 4 - None Other @ 25/1
As per above
Race 5 - Above
Enjoy the racing

T3 Chyavana @ 15/2 ew. Light weight and think KDM gets best out of him.
T4 Rock The Fox @ 10/3. Should have won last time out.
T5 Acorn @ 12/1 ew, maybe gelding has done trick.
T7 Pamushinas Pride 28/1 ew, just think might role out front with a bit of fresh legs, no harm at odds.
T8 Clafoutis @ 7/1 ew. Hoping for a return to best.

mackem wrote: Very interested in Race 5 kt, respect Laguna although I was leaning to Prophet with a recent run under his belt but will have a few in my JP in that leg. Our boy Royal Victory is heading to Jburg for the Graham Beck on 29th October and if that goes well then the Dingaans on Summer Cup day so watching these form lines like a hawk. Was impressed with the first 2 home in the big sales race last week, going to be some cracking contests
Nice call with Prophet Mackem. Good call.

A bit of loose interest on Sunday at Greyville
Race 4, Trade War 16/1, worst of the draw but down in class, I think this one has been a touch disappointing since winning on debut but might be ready to get back in the winners box
Race 5 Juan Carlos was running on last time, bit of extra ground today, tough race to punt though
Race 6 Iron Will, if the fav fluffs it lines this one comes into it. Jhb form was good and whilst no much to show from 3 runs in KZN they were all on poly, thought 10/1 or so looked a good price if switch to turf does the trick
Race 8 I think this is between Political Party and Majestic Warrior
A stab at Jackpot 2 races 5-8
1-4, 7,12,13 / 2,6,7,8 / 2,3,4,5,6,7 / 1,4 = 336 bets
All the best if you playing today

Race 2 - Valerias Dream @ 16/1
Hoping for some improvement on first run, nicely bred and on breeding should need step up. top 2 in betting look hard to beat but will take them on with this one.
Race 3 - Axel Collins @ 40/1
If fav behaves on form lines should be hard to beat. This one is nicely bred and gets the form jock in KZN up. Also half brother to more than decent Clever Greene.
Race 4 - Auld Mug @ 20/1 & Two of Us @ 20/1
Fav looks decent but 2 come out and win 1st time out of the maidens. Both of these have shown above average form earlier and nw dropped nicely in ratings to be more competive.
Race 6 - Iron Will @ 6/1
I missed the 10 Mackem, but as you say early form in Jhb was excellent, 1 length behind Rain in Holland & beat Motown Magic, any return to that form should see it go close hopegully.
Race 7 - Mystic Angel @ 20/1
I thought last win was more than decent and could improve. Wide draw a concern but way it ran could be looking for the extra 200m
Race 8 - Zooberi @ 5/1
Looks ready to win and a pointer will be the winner of last race and how it performs.
Enjoy the racing
