The newsletter Best Bet Scotland +8.5 came home smoking and what a win it was by the Scots - those 2 Duhan tries were amongst the best I have seen for different reasons - Scotland will be a challenge for the Boks in the World Cup make no mistake
I was then on the forum pick of Italy overs and that arrived in style to ensure a profitable opening weekend - man they probably should have won the game. I must say France for all their brute force are looking well off the dominant team of late 2021 and early 2022
Here are my Round 2 Handicap projections (I am expecting bookmakers to be out already so after doing mine will check the sites and will put bookies opening lines in brackets to the right)
Ireland -4.5 v France (-4.5)
Scotland -7.5 v Wales (-5.5)
England -15.5 v Italy (-20.5)
Main difference is on he England game but I suspect the line will end closer to the bookies than mine
As far as the Outright betting goes here is an update
Ireland 4/7
France 27/10
Scotland 13/2
England 16/1
Wales 70/1
Italy 500/1

At first glance the plus 20.5 Italy looks a treat against an English team that must be reeling after their defeat to Scotland , much will depend on the team named by the Italians and also whether they can back up the French performance .
Personally I think there's nothing to think they can't and the plus is looking like a good bet .
Did France have one eye on the Irish game or have they peaked too soon perhaps ? It was a lazy performance but I expect there is still plenty of improvement to come following the Italian game.
The handicap looks well set and I may look at the total points line with an intent on going low.
Like a moth to a flame I am drawn to the Welsh when they travel to Edinburgh . Scotland were terrific against England but that form could end up being a little weak if Italy run England close , there is no doubt Welsh rugby is in dire straights but what may work in their favour is playing away from home where they could play with a degree of freedom that has been absent from their game plan of late .
I'll be in the hunt for the best plus Wales come Saturday .

Against this Irish pack I think they could be in real trouble. I am quite liking the -4.5 if it is still around.

I just like the way Italy play these days but 17.5 is too high for me to have a confident strike

Aaaaaand tailing! Italy over 19.5 PTS also looks worthy of a punt.

Ended up staying out the treble as was worried about conditions in Glasgow.
Tomorrow can’t watch anything live but will be looking at overs in all 6N matches closer to kick off.

How have they given that Lowe try?? Foot clearly on the ground, you could see by his reaction it wasn’t a try and it’s given, not even revisited.
How does this happen in todays game.
Shocking

Take your head out of the arsehole of dead bets.
Ireland were much the better side and there should be no whining from punters here

Go and take a look online, anywhere, or open a sports page today, you will see James Lowe was out, clearly. You could see it with your old eyes it was out. But I’m guessing you’re Irish, so you’re blinded by your loyalty to a team that will
Never win a World Cup.
And I don’t bet, gave that up a long time ago.
I called it out. It was out. It was missed. Nothing to do with betting you stupid bitch.

I'm having my best weekend in a more than a year. 2 in and 1 to go..
I also had both Ireland and Scotland by 13+ and had them in multiples with each other. So six (biggies) have landed.
I'm so sure that England are gonna be run close by the Italians that I'm considering some of the Conductors 'betting juice' to go for a W. But i guess that would just be plain greedy of me.
So I'll just sit on the +20.5. I've got 3 bets accumulated onto it so
Good luck guys

This forum has always been more about quality than quantity and I would like it to stay that way
@Kirky will be shouting the Italians home for you
On personal note it has been a poor weekend with the under 44.5 in Dublin never a runner (although I got hope in the 2nd half) and I compounded it with a poor in running call on France.
I then liked the Scots overs but got clever and took both teams over 20 a bet I have never taken before
Will mull over whether to get involved on England game or just watch the cricket

Even though I'm aware that I've got some of that 'I can walk on water' shit going on in my head, I think that Italy can win it. At Twickers to boot.
If they can match up some of their last week's intensity today, with England in the disarray that they're in at the mo ?
Italy will win it.
Not saying they will, but they could. They're never gonna get an opportunity like this again. And Crowley's a savvy coach, he'll know it.
I'm putting 2 units on the W @ 7.00 (Sunbet). Not gonna wait for the 'betting juice' to kick in.
C'mon Italy

And then reckon van poortvliet ; Jack Willis and Ben earl anytime tryscorers.
I’m not betting, but if I did, that’s my call

For me the plus stands out so if true to form England will smash them , to be fair England's style of play may disrupt any Italian plans but I have to stick with the plus but for very small stakes . 19.5 at evens
