Thanks to Eskom I never got to watch any VC in week 1 but I am hoping to get some hours in front of the TV tomorrow (there is an outside chance I will go and watch Withs v UJ)

Here is the latest outright betting at WSB

Maties 16/10
Shimlas 28/10 (backed by Shaft at 9/2 in last weeks thread)
Tuks 3/1
Ikeys 9/2
NWU Eagles 10/1
Wits 40/1
UJ 50/1
CUT 200/1

and here are tomorrows handicaps

NWU +4.5 v Shimlas, Total Points 56.5
Wits -3.5 v UJ, Total Points 57.5
UCT +1.5 v Tuks, Total Points 54.5
Maties -30.5 v CUT, Total Points 70.5

Form has always been tough for me to read in VC, but from what I saw last week in the Maties vs UCT game, I like UCT to beat Tuks. Will also be very windy at the Green mile so tempted for an unders play on total points.

Points lines in the 2 televised games have moved out into the low 60's

Best bet on the card for me Maties -31.5 - reckon they run riot over CUT

Think the points match this evening is at Wits.
I thought the defense of Tuks and Ikeys looked OK last week so will be looking at unders. Market suspended at my books at present.
Leaning other way on the Maties match. This years side did not look as good as last years which beat CUT by 33.

Wits v UJ
Over 63.5 match points @ 9/10

Maties v CUT
CUT +32.5 @ 9/10

Nothing jumps out on the early match so beers for the watch
NWU v Shimlas
Half time/Full/time
Shimlas/NWU @ 17/2

LOL Vann well done on CUT - what price were they to win?

What a comeback by Wits - ref reminded me of Marius van der Westhuizens younger boet but what great entertainment

No idea on the win price. Never considered it. I made the Ikeys line 55.5 and it came out at 54.5 so swerved and joined Hanrick on the win.
Always remember the Oracle on the Varsity Cup. These are just kids and you never know what they did the night before - bet for fun. Still quality advice.

100% I only bet for interest on VC - seriously unpredictable - that Pukke win over Shimlas was also well off what was expected

I can't remember CUT's odds, but Maties was 0.01/1 to win the game.

Like you guys say, you can't have big stakes on the VC. Form very tough to read. Total points a bit easier. Reckon if you go overs blindly on every game, you will show a profit.
