Wow that was a weekend like I have not had for a while with winners across the board starting with the All Blacks -8.5 ht cap and finishing with Glasgow upsetting Leinster

The big game was the Boks though where the Newsletter bets of under 4.5 tries and anytime drop goal YES (at 7/2) arrived and I got some strange looks from my guests when Farrell nailed that drop goal and I went hurtling around the lounge - the cherry on top was of course the Boks winning the game - no idea how they did it but I take a detailed look at the last 13 minutes in this video

The only disappointment was missing the 5 leg 22/1 newsletter acca with Sharks +12.5 - I was fortunate though to have them in a double at +13.5 with overs in the Lions v Stormers game

What do you mean you are not on our newsletter yet? Join the battle against the bookmakers here bit.ly/gftgnewsletter

Plenty of rugby ahead and so far so good in the URC

World Cup Final Betting

WSB go 9/10 New Zealand, 20/1 the draw and 11/10 the Boks so the All Blacks basically at -0.5
The points line is set at 42.5

England are -8.5 against Argentina in the 3rd place playoff

I think the Boks have some very tough selection calls to make after 2 very tough matches

There is also URC and Gallagher Prem action

NZ to win the WC @2 just for 1u

Pure value after SF, I won´t add another unit as there´re better chances across other competitions

I've done the same thing Pablo.

I figure that if the ABs beat us (50/50 right ?), then winning the bet will be a small consolation prize to not winning the WC. :)

Spoken to a couple of bookies who report very little in terms of volume on either the bronze final or final at this stage - it explains why the markets are almost stable

Here are the URC handicaps as they stand

Ospreys -13.5 v Zebre
Connacht -3.5 v Glasgow
Stormers -25.5 v Scarlets
Leinster -17.5 v Sharks
Edinburgh -11.5 v Lions
Benetton +2.5 v Munster
Dragons -1.5 v Cardiff
Ulster -5.5 v Bulls

3 Sunday games to help ease the RWC hangover

Taken either team by 7 or less, including the draw at 10/11 and ABs by 8+ at 85/40 to offset my existing Bok outright bets.

Jeez I’d love a bok victory, but feel our luck runs out on Saturday against a fresher kiwi side who haven’t really been tested in the tournament like the boks have.

Argentina v England Bronze Medal Preview

I am firing Argentina board at 28/10 - considering making a big Superbru move as well - currently just inside the bubble in 10th but only 3 points behind the leader - as RuggaBugga used to say "Scared Money Don't Make Money"

You would think that the Argies would be up for this test against the Orc this evening - a sniff of revenge in the air maybe? Also, having been humiliated last weekend by the Darkness things can only get better?? I've gone Argies +8.

England over 12.5 HT is appealing for tonight -

First to 10 points - NZ @ 2.17 is a goodie also - Regardless of the outcome, I see the ABs pulling out early and SA slow poisoning its way back into the match.

Lions +11.5 vs Edinburgh

So I've had a bet on NZ for a few days. Woke up this morning knowing that I had to cash them out, no ways am I betting against the Boks, not even from die ander kant. If we lose, then I'll mourn along with everybody else.

So now I've placed a bet on either team by 7 or less, as per Chiefie's lead. I also reckon this is going to be an unders game, but waiting to see what GFTG says. Wish the bookies had a bet on a hat-trick of 1's

Go the BOKKE :woohoo: :woohoo:

Agree with kirky. Although seeing every pundit pushing the overs. Guys are reckoning both teams to get over 20, which I could see happening. But I could also see a 20-17 sort of game.

Think there could be value in ABS/BOKS HT/FT too.

Also like a penalty to be scored in opening 10mins at evens.

Hoping our 7-1 split pays off, and Willie doesn’t come on. Could see an error from him costing us the game. Hoping not, but he’s done a big error in each game.

The +11.5 lessened the damage but so annoyed Argentina went for poles instead of touch with minutes remaining

The real pain was tumbling out of Superbru contention although it was worth the gamble

Forecast showing sunshine and showers for the time of the game so not too bad.

I'm more interested in the Scarlets game as its the only one I can watch. +24pts? How good are the Stormers??

Yeah, looks like skies clear at 1pm and during the match but agree that both teams are crap.

Stormers are far better than Scarlets but wind its a concern as its expected to be strong. Otherwise It would be a overs

I really like over 0.5 penalties in the first 10 minutes of the final at 1.76, especially in rainy conditions.

I saw it on Pokerbet. I haven't checked any other sites.

I’ve got no dog in this fight, but Wayne Barnes has absolutely bottled this. Kwagga Smith with both hands clearly on the floor and turns the ball over with a minute left. As illegal a turnover as it gets. Should’ve been a penalty to win for NZ. Right in front of him. Horrid officiating.

Congrats to the Boks
