URC Week 4 Gallagher Prem Week 5 plus other rugby 10-12 Nov was created by Brent Graham
A weekend where I finished slightly ahead after a terrible start with the Newsletter Best Bet Sharks overs looking a runner for all of 3 minutes and the acca also going crashing out on Friday night with no points in the 2nd half of the Stormers game

I pulled back on the Bulls overs tries and also Munster minus and I wish I had followed Pierre with this as a best bet
Another full house of fixtures ahead and I imagine we will see more RWC players enter the mix
Here are my URC handicap projections
Zebre +10.5 v Sharks
Cardiff +4.5 v Bulls
Ulster -1.5 v Munster
Benetton +4.5 v Stormers
Ospreys +5.5 v Glasgow
Scarlets -5.5 v Lions
Edinburgh -6.5 v Connacht
Dragons +20.5 v Leinster
There is also Gallagher Prem action and betting posts on any rugby matches welcome in this thread

WSB are out with their caps, their in brackets, 5 points or more difference in re, 3-4 points in orange

my rugby form was terrible last weekend but can thank a sunday football strike to revive my mood for week ahead.
Stormers -1 @ 10/11
As much as it was a poor game to watch in Glasgow, they were not outplayed and a night match on artificial turf was always going to be a challenge of sorts.
Day game in Italy, clear conditions, should be more their cup of tea. Expecting a response.

In the always interesting Pro D2 I go with Provence o31.5 @1.83 and Nevers -15.5 ha @1.90 both for 2u.
Aurillac with a second string team and Provence almost full strength, good weather expected so line is low in my opinion. Same for Nevers as Rouen rotates for this match, some rain expected so I prefer hándicap rather than Nevers points.

Thought I would try something different today in an attempt to break a losing streak of 6 consecutive bets (mostly overs) so I go Gloucester (at home) +3 against Bath.
Half time its 20 - 10 and I'm thinking the world is a nice place. Gloucester then experience a collapse of epic proportions and concede 4 consecutive tries to be down 20 - 38 at one point. The game finishes 27 - 45.
I think I need a break!!

I love this forum and the preview show and im glad I found it on day on google as its now a part of my weekly browsing especially towards the weekend. But these tips with south african teams in them are beating me in to submission. Week after week african club sides are beating me silly. The rest is epic!

Got 1 out of 2 so not so bad - bets looked dead at HT
But it's been tricky punting on rugby post World Cup. Takes time to grasp formlines etc esp with hybrid A/B sides

Jeeezz, the guys are salty on here lately.
Reckon those 1/4 final performances by the NH teams have the guys on tilt.
Guys, nobody on here is trying to post a losing bet, unless they work for the bookies perhaps. I’m sure a lot of time and effort is going into these picks, so either follow them and hope for the best, or take the L if it loses and move on. No need to give the guys grief, it’s not necessary.
And if you’re gambling more than you can afford to lose, then take a break or put loss limits on your account, it’s simple.

What about positivity? I suppose if we are happy to get praised when tips work out then we should also accept some stick if not? Within reason of course!
