Race 7
Solar Power @ 45/1 (Boyles)
This one was above average in Cape and then went off the boil when moved up to JHB. Beaten Winchester Mansion in Cape and The Futrist, both of which are above average. If repeats any of that form should be close.
Unzen @ 15/1
Another which has run againest stronger and always one I have struggled to pick. But the last run behind Silver Hills was decent and was giving them a lot of weight.
Pyromaniac @ 12/1
On his day this horse is a world beater, but hard to catch. Looks like a bit of rain around in JHB and this ones seems to like a bit of cut out of the ground.
Just some earlu interests.

Race 5 Reny the class act if ready after a lengthy break, have been backing Guy Gibson without success so typical if that arrives but will stick with Reny who has won fresh before, currently 28/10
Race 6 Lucky's filly On the Horizon looks like there is plenty more improvement to come, short enough price taking on the males and I'll chance George Handel, currently 9/1, crappy draw but no weight and Muzi up and very good run last time stepped up in trip
Race 7 Will be going wide in the jackpot but if pushed for a value each way then Another Level at 20/1. Drawn bang in the middle, lightly raced for a 5yo, not sure if trip might be a bit sharp but was running on 2nd over 1400 and last start and has won at the Vaal before.
Race 8 Looks really tricky to me but Argo Alley (9/1) runs here in the consolation rather than the big feature earlier. Looking at Compaform has shortened in the betting in all runs since returning from gelding back in April. Has smart form early in career at a higher level than this.
Enjoy the racing, play well lads

Here are my selections for tomorrow at the Vaal .
Race 1
Lucky Houdalakis horse been punted , normally a shrewdy and could be good enough to win on debut . Preference though for the second fav Secret Chord who has the experience.
Race 2
A weak maiden and French Duchess is a narrow first selection .
Race 3
Another exotic minefield , taking a chance on Dark Tide , light weight , good jock and drawn nicely .
Race 4
Rulership should still have some diesel infused improvement to come in his new stable and should be hard to beat .
Race 5
Hawkbill has Fourie booked and looks a fair bet here .
Race 6
Millahue ran no sort of race last time out but the drop in trip will be beneficial , big price ew .
Race 7
The big one, Silver Tudor is my fancy ew , low weight , nicely drawn on the outside , Tarry's been aiming this one I feel .
Race 8
Angel of War is a similar type of horse , nicely drawn , low weight and a long striding grey , should give a good run for yee loot, Tsar Bomba is a decent sort and nicely priced .
Race 9.
Open race , Stormy Choice represents and out of form stable but could feature .
Play well lads

Race 1
Rock of Bismantova @ 25/2
Lerena doesnt often ride for the stable, but has placed for him 5 from 6 and won on 3, which is pretty decent. If looking at the this ones breeding, looks like bred for sprints with both siblings wining over 1200m, but this the first time over 1200m, and I remember South always liking Future's. Has been up the straight twice so has experience. For me worth a shot in what looks like an open race even if drawn the wrong side.
Race 2
Mary Read @ 14/1 (Boyles)
Just based on trainers comment and that nothing else much in the race with form that jumps out.
Sound Machine @ 45/1
Disappointing first run, but nicely bred and half sister to top sort in Litigation. Been by Var might show a bit more pace than siblings and drawn on the right side. Can't get hurt at this price.
Race 3
Race is so open scary.
After Hours @ 25/2 - Dropped nicely at the weights and a slight step down in class. Drawn on the right side I think, worth a shot.
I have heard that Duke of Rock is decent bet, so will take swingers and Exacta.
Race 4
Mover and Shaker @ 13/2
This is speedy and with 4 of his back, might be able to keep away.
Karangetang @ 20/1 - This one has run againest some really nice sorts and if not needing, could maybe pop up. Worth a shot at that price.
But will wait awhile as think could drift further as money pours onto Peter stable horses.
Race 6
Kwazzi Lady @ 14/1
Just one I have followed, has a bit to find and think fav hard to beat as Coil says. Will take swingers with his and fav.
Race 7
As above
Will post anything else, but all small punts today as think very tough.
Enjoy the racing

Race 7 - Montien @ 10/1 ew.
Really talented sort who won a lot easier than margin suggested last time out. Drops back in trip but seems to have good speed so not too much s concern and nicely weighted here. Looks like one to follow in the big features this season.
Race 8 - All About Al @ 10/1 ew
Knocking on the door for next win and rating has come down nicely. Feel this one is overpriced when I look at balance of field,
Good racing,

Main race - Whafeef @ 33/1, Black Egret @ 33/1. Both ew.
And one big outsider, race 2 Sound Machine @ 66/1, will surely improve on poor debut.

Cape Town
Race 1
Amber Rock has some good form to her name but I would be a little tentative taking such a short price , Night Vigil and Koopse Hoopse are my 2.
Race 2
Open race , Approach Shot and the Natal raider Prankster
Race 3
Open race , Silver Platter could improve plenty from a stable showing signs , Ozark is a jockey strike and should be respected.
Race 4
Fourie had a shite day yesterday , however I do like him on Carricao .
Race 5
Right Royal Mo narrowly in a tough race , going for 3 in a row.
Race 6
I like two here , Lucy the Pink and Priceless.
Race 7
Surjay or anything .... preference for Cosmic Light
Race 8
Masked Vigilante slightly preferred but tough race .
Race9
Red Sash and Little miss Pink in a tough conclusion of the day .
Play well bruvs

Some tough racing again today. Lots with chances.
Race 1
Pushing Limits @ 33/1 (Hollywood)
Beautifully bred, and siblings Rose in Bloom, Going Up a few to mention were all super fast early. All wining in first 2. I have seen quiet a few Canford Cliffs also winning early. As Coil mentioned stable also slowly starting to turn.
Kalikaa @ 17/1 (Boyles)
On breeding looks bred for some speed and stable has been of late bring them ready. Nice comment in the Comptaform. Inveroche won early and ws also speedy early. Been by Gimmethegreenlight who seems to throw up some speedy sorts, will hopefully be close.
Coil I also really like your Kaapse and stable comment I find interesting. With it drifting to 20/1 might be tempted.
Race 2
Exact same 2 as you Coil. I really like Prankster as well.
Approach Shot got a very nice weight and the run behind Future Variety has been franked with him coming out and winning a small future last week. Now only carrying 54.5kgs make him a big runner.
Race 3
Also on Silver Platter @ 40/1. Half brother to the more than decent Saartjie, who only pitched up over this trip. As you say worth another go.
Nocturnal Flight @ 20/1
Positive comment from stable after gelding and saying will be competitive. Improved with last step up, hoping for similar.
Race 4
Promiterre @ 7/1 (WSB)
Decent last run behind Pomodoro's Jet, and run behind some decent sorts previously.
Will take swingers with Pomodoro's Jet and Carrioco of Coil
Race 6
School Policy @ 15/1 (Boyles/Hollywood)
I think Priceless could be something special, but on breeding this one looks like could be looking for this trip. FUll sister to the very good Head Honcho who was owned by same owner. Will weight to places and take swingers.
Race 7
Bartholdi @ 20/1 (WSB)
If can repeat last run againest Surjay, should be right there with weight swing.
Noble City @ 33/1 (Boyle/Hollywood)
I have always thought this one was decent, early in career was decent over sprints and if able to reproduce those maybe close.
Enjoy the racing

I also took Oyonnaux plus 11.5 , 12-7 to Dragons with two minutes left and they conceded two tries , insanely predictable on my form when it comes to the final seconds of a match . Treading softly today

One more for me today next to the 2 already posted for later -
R6 Enchanting Choice @ 17/2 ew. Think the Kenilworth course will suit her big striding style and looks to have lots of scope.
