All Racing Tips w/c 18th December

A couple early ones on a tough day

Race 1 - Head Turner @ 33/1
On the run behind Boom Boom, holds the fav using Mizzen Sail as the line horse. Kakiebos finished 4l back at level weights, Head Turner finished 2l back giving MS 2kg's. Cant get hurt at that price. Weighted to top 4.

Race 2 - Majestic Palace @ 28/1
Was on this one last time, decent improvement run 1 to 2. Also drawn on right side of track, and all fav's had there chances. Again weighted to places.

I have taken the above double and if it comes in I will retire. LOL

Race 4 - Fiery Cliffs @ 16/1
Fav looks hard to beat, but on run before, this one holds Universal Love, getting 2.5kgs for 2.25l beating. Worth a shot at that price.

Race 5 - Libiceco @ 13/1
Whilst out at the MR, holds both Bronze Sword and Princess Ilara on previous meetings.

Race 6 - Leonessa @ 125/1 & Que Ceu Azol
Yes I know stupid price, but looking at form, Leonessa holds the fav Lady Fallon on run behind Mrs Geriatix and should finish just behind My Lady Soul on weight turn arounds
Que Ceu Azul ran behind Nother Russia, only 4 lengths giving her 3.5kg. So could be close.And previous runs over distance have been respectable, behind Nother Russia, Emirate Gina and winning the other.

Something I very seldom do, punt Fairview.

Race 1 - Magdala
Just based on Stable and Jock combo. Had some nice money so hopefully that is a sign. But these days R 500 on a 1st timer can bring the price in.

Race 3 - Misty Cliffs @ 16/1 (HWB)
Fav looks decent on Cape Form. but this one beat Metar last time at Durbanville. Worth a shot at that price.
My outsider Chelsea Blue @ 40/1 (WSB)
Had some decent Durban form on the Grass. And think may surprise. Know with Greef stable the biggest outsider can pop up.

Race 6 - Desert Fox @ 33/1 (WSB)
I remember this one from Jhb, not going to win anything major, but remember it as been decent. First time on the grass in PE, might be what it needs.

Sorry juvenile wasn't helped by the shennigans at the start by the scratched horse. Misty Cliffs just didnt have it.

Cape Town

Race 1
Open race as the betting suggests , Pretty Precious however is very interesting , love the breeding and should run well .

Race 2
Hoodia is another lovely bred horse and hails from an in form yard , lots of opposition though and I'm going to lean towards Song to the Moon .

Race 3
Lickety Split is very consistent but I'm liking F Eight here , Fourie retains the ride and extra 200m should suit .

Race 4
Foudre has been gelded and should improve , the price is a little skinny though . I do make him hard to beat and Connery will be my lurker .

Race 5
I like two fillies here , Desert Rose and Fun Zone.

Race 6
I really need a pace in this race as my fancy Broadway Girl would love it , small field , fingers crossed .

Race 7
I'm loving Prevalence here and the Christmas jock Craig Bantam !!

Race 8
Craig Bantam again in a tough race , Pacific Green .

Race 9
An open race it seems for the last and I'm leaning towards Gimmelightening .

Race 1
A lot may depend on Sakkie de Kok's first timer Marauding Horde , of the raced horses I like Mastership , it should drift so I'll be waiting for a better price .

Race 2
Weak maiden but I still wouldn't fly into the odds on shot Great Barrier , probably no bet.

Race 3
Judgement Day is my strong fancy but I missed the price , he's a big horse and long striding animal that will enjoy the track. However he could be caught be a horse with a sharp turn of foot, Tax Haven could improve.

Race 4
This could be a tricky race , I'm going to take my chances with Player who has a lightweight and is still relatively unexposed .

Race 5
United Council could be the one to side with here , lots of money for her last time and Khumalo sticks with her .

Race 6
Just can't get a grip on this race , will probably go to one of the top 2 but I'm going to watch I feel .

Race 7
Got a small sneak Danilo Danilovic will run well .

Race 8
Moonshining Through is my narrow selection , but the race could spring a result

Race 9
After a mamoth day I'm going for bottom weight Grapeshot .

Race 1 - Feel all Right @ 28/1(WSB)
If you look at form over 1400m, it is above average and in some nice formlines. I do agree with you Coil on Mastership, looks a decent sort. If Presseley was drawn better would have made him a penalty kick the way he finished his last off.
My complete outsider is the Soma Colt, the stable is having such a bad run, and hoping it turns today.

Race 3 - Animal Impact @ 8/1 (WSB)
On breeding looks like it may be looking for this distance, holds both on previous runs, and hoping might surprise. Also like the Jockey booking, Muzi seems to get a bit extra out of horses.

Race 4 - Star Coin @ 10/1
I remember Mackem saying previously he liked this one, and was on him last time in close up loss to Perfect Witness. Thought it was a good run and hoping he can improve again. Think fav willl be tough to beat, but have taken 9/10 for top 4 @ BetX which I think is a great price.

Race 6 -
Looks like a 2 horse race, I will favor Peter horse. Some how he improves horses lengths in JHB. My place outsider will be Daring Act

Race 7
If Rulership repeats last run should win in a canter, but will follow Coil

Race 9 - Gimmealight @ 50/1
Yes looks out but if can return to early form may pop up. One first race over sprints, 2nd race was a decent 2nd to top sort from Tarry Yard, and then hasnt been embarrassed against better sorts. Also nice drop in MR.

Race 1 - Figure Eight @ 10/1
I thought 1st run was decent, Bernie has stayed on her and was running on nicely after been slow away. Same gate so hopefully will get away better.

Race 3 - F Eight @ 10/1 (BetX)
Fourie stays with her, and runs over 1400m have been impressive. And last run behind Tres Chic I thought was very impressive.

Race 4 - Givethatmanabells @ 8/1
Thought was super impressive last time. I think this a lot more open than the betting suggests.
I also like some of No.3 Prince of Tibet, but will wait as seems to be drifting.

Race 5 - Wheres the Party @ 20/1
Has all the other horses except for fav beaten at the weight turn arounds. So will try her, and take swingers with Fav

Race 6 - Broadway Girl @ 4/1
Been on her every time since moving, have always rated her just below the best in her age, and thats why struggled. To good for lower divisions so carry's to Jocks, and in features is there abouts.

Race 7 - Tamarisk Tree @ 8/1
Always liked this one, fair form since relocating to Kannemeyer stable. Think will go close.

Race 1 - Ant Dynasty @ 40/1 & House of Pharoah @ 40/1
Ant - Jock yesterday was in fine form and drawn on the right side. Was some money on debut for it.
House of Pharoah - Half sister to Helens Ideal who seemed t enjoy the soft. Master of my Fate also used to find an extra leg in the soft.
Both Heavily weighted to places as think fav on form hard to oppose, but stable has been known to surprise.

Race 2 - Grey Fantacy @ 5/1
Beautifully bred.

Race 3 - Catavar @ 6/1 (BetX)

Race 4 - Mazatalan @ 14/1
Hoping the 2.5kg's off help, the 2 runs over distance havent been the worse.

Race 5 - Escapoligist @ 7/1
Holds a few on weight turn around, and stable / Jock combo interesting.

Race 6 - Lady Lacewing @ 16/1 & Epic View @ 14/1
Lady Lacewing - Coming back from a break, has run well course and distance and must be reasonably highly thought if ran in feature on Gold Cup day.
Epic View - Nicely weighted and again, ran in features and wasnt embarressed.
Also both seem to like the softer going.

R7 ultra Magnus 13/1 ew might get bigger as could drift. Old boy considered good enough by yard to send up to Joburg last time out for hot race. This his better class and likes track.

R8 purple powerhouse 7/1 ew. Overdue a return to winners box and runs off lowest rating for a long time.
