All Football Tips w/c 8th April

I think City are false favourites for the PL and UCL. Something is not right with them, they are not as fluid as past seasons. Whereas, Arsenal seem to be going to another level at the business end of the season. Arsenal betting fans should be all over that 15/1 Arsenal to win PL and UCL double.

Anyway on to tonight's games:

Arsenal vs Bayern

I remember back in the Wenger days how a Bayern win was a given against Arsenal. For many years Bayern would roll up in the knockouts against Arsenal and complete a demolition job over two legs. This time I think Arsenal will finally get some revenge on Bayern.

Real vs City

As mentioned, City are not playing at their best and something is off with the team. Real are well rested after not playing this past weekend and at a refurbished Bernabeu, I think the home support gets them a win tonight.

Real Madrid to win - 19/10

Mexico W vs Australia W

Friendly in San Antonio.

Australia are missing several players through injuries.

Mexico played very well at the recent Gold Cup, defeating USA 2-0 (although the Americans go through a generation change, they are still a top team) and reaching the semifinals.

Australia's coach said they he will try different tactics and combinations in view of the Paris Olympics.

I think we will see a few goals.

An early EPL bet for me for Sunday, Crystal Palace to score vs Liverpool at 19/20. Liverpool are conceding goals for fun and are on a horrid run defensively over the last 12 games.

The fanbase are also protesting against the owners about a 2% increase in ticket prices for next season and based on last night's thrashing by Atalanta, Anfield is a weird venue at the moment. No flags, no singing, no YNWA makes it an easier venue for away fans. Even if the protests are stopped for the game, I still see Palace scoring against the Reds.

Newcastle v Tottenham

Over 3.5 goals @ 5/6

Had the same bet when Spurs visited West Ham the other week. Looked a good thing after 20 mins, but both teams seemed to take their foot off the gas after that. Don't think that will happen here, though. Especially as Spurs have a tough run in.

West Ham vs Fulham

Since the beginning of February, Fulham are averaging 16.1 shots per 90 minutes, while West Ham are continually giving up 20+ shots a match out of their low block.

Arsenal vs Aston Villa

Arsenal have got the title race in their own hands and they can get back to the top with a win here.
Arsenal have conceded twice in their last eight league matches — one on a goalie howler from backup Aaron Ramsdale, and another on a consolation finish from Newcastle when the score was 4-0.

Villa's defensive numbers have dropped a lot since the beginning of the year, and they rank in the bottom four now in terms of xG allowed and goals conceded.
