UFC 300: Pereira vs Hill

Here we go ladies and gents. The mother of all cards, the best one of the year with quality fights top to bottom starting off the prelims with a former champ.

The main event is for the light heavyweight championship between Alex Pereira the former middleweight champion and current LHW champion and Jamahall 'Sweet dreams' Hill, former LHW champion who relinquished his belt after an ACL tear. Both fighters have heavy hands and someone's probably going to sleep.

All bets, angles and props are welcome. Looking forward to this card.

No better card to be involved in than this one, the young fellow is onto something.

This will be the best card for the next 8 years. Nothing will come close to this card for a very long time!

Jim Miller, the man , ufc 100, 200 and now 300, 40 years old and on a great winning streak, need I say more, miller ML, however props to look at is miller decision , miller to win & over 1,5 , and bobby went to sleep not long ago in one of the most brutal fashions. This is my dog pick of the card. -

Justin Gaethje and Max, this is my main event , i am such a max fan, he is slick on the feet, moves in and out of range with ease and those combos are the equivalent of a Picasso painting. The sad part is Justin will probably win this fight, his leg kicks will disrupt max's rhythm, he is more physical and i don't see max taking Justin down like in the Yair fight. I got Justin ML, or even the Justin & over 2.5 rounds prop is tempting as max chin is granite.

Figueiredo and Cody Garbrandt, This fight i am all over figueiredo, this can go two ways in my mind, either figueiredo catches cody and k/o's him or cody points this to a decision. figueiredo ML .

Another dog to look at is calvin kattar , Calvin is the better fighter all round, he has great takedown defense, he will out strike aljamain, the line has not settled yet and for some reason more money is coming in on aljo, I don't know what I'm missing here, maybe because calvin was out for 15 months with the knee injury. I placed a ML bet on calvin and a decision calvin bet. if the line moves more i will probably do one more small bet. if someone can talk me out of this i will welcome it.

These are my takes at the moment, i will look at more tape on Friday ,

I like your take with Kattar Strausspunt and I was suprised at where the line came out, was fully expecting him to be the favourite. Now I do understand his long lay off plays a big part in this. Aljo though moving up a weight class, this is his natural weight and has no issues cutting weight this time around.

I just can't shake off the fact that if this is a striking match, although Aljo might be abit underrated in that department as he is grappling heavy, Kattar will be significantly better. The way he shut down and dusted up Barboza, one of the most ruthal kickers in the division is quite impressive. If Aljo can get to backpack Kattar it might be a different game.

This might a prop betting fight for me though. Might look at the number of significant strikes when those come out and number of rounds.

Ok my predictions:
Jim miller- I basically bet with my heart here, i really fought jim would be able to keep up, but age was his downfall here. Live betting saved me and i hedged a profit here- to go a decision.

The justin fight - How slick was max? justin really looked slow and i really think that kick to his nose compromised him for the rest of the fight. - again live betting saved me here- i hedged with a decision play and in the beginning of the 4th round i played a line on the KO ,


Calin is definitely my biggest loss on this card and will go into my fade list in future, so disappointed in him;

I basically went all out on the last fight and bet perrera to get the ko.

I think in future i will only live bet events as this has worked out for me the last two weeks.

Event recap, went 4-4 with the worst bad beats in the Gaethje Vs Holloway fight to go the distance when they decided to brawl the last 10 seconds and Gaethje gets knocked out with 1 second on the clock.
The significant strikes markets has been very profitable for me as I've been doing it for 2 months now and haven't missed one. Max strikes were free money to be honest.
Rakic was winning until he wasn't winning. That was an eventful UFC card.
We get this weekend off and back the following weekend.
