The Bulls defeat to the Cheetahs at Loftus means Western Province are the new Currie Cup favourites with some bookmakers while in the Tri Nations you can now get 33/1 that the Springboks come back from 3 straight defeats to take the title.
Tri Nations Betting Update
Australia has shortened in the Tri Nations betting from 7/1 into 9/2 with World Sports Betting and Mbet. The move though comes at the expense of the team they beat convincingly in Brisbane on Saturday, the Springboks rather than favourites New Zealand.
The Boks are out from 8/1 to 33/1 with Mbet while New Zealand remain locked in at 1/5 with a crucial game taking place in Australia this coming weekend.
Our betting preview for the game will be in our Rugby section Thursday morning.

Currie Cup Betting Update
Their has been plenty of movements in the Currie Cup betting some of which are quite confusing but also show the value of having multiple accounts.
The Bulls have gradually been on the drift and after a home defeat to the Cheetahs (which by the way made this punter very happy) they are now available at 5/2 with World Sports Betting and World of Sport.
Province put the Leopards away easily enough in Potch but many a handicap punter was left in tears as they conceded 2 tries in the last 2 minutes to allow the Leopards in on the handicap. The Cape outfit is now 5/2 with World of Sport interestingly a point out from the 24/10 quoted this time last week.
The Sharks beat the Pumas by 10 in Durban (you could have got +29.5 Pumas) and while as short as 5/2 in places they are out from 3/1 to 4/1 at Mbet.
Having lost their opening match to Province the Cheetahs have certainly righted the ship but can still be backed at 7/1 with Betxchange although though are as short as 11/2 elsewhere.
The Griquas beat the Lions in an unconvincing display in Kimberley and both sides are 40/1 at Mbet with the Pumas 2500/1 at World of Sport and the Leopards 5000/1 with the same layer.
