Only 3 more sleeps until Super Rugby 2012 and we take a look at the latest betting on the outright market where the Crusaders are rock solid favourites.
We are as usually going big for Super Rugby and links to a host of outright previews can be found at the bottom of this page.
We won’t be posting another outright preview though as the Blues were labeled at 9/1 way back in November of 2011. There has been plenty of betting movement though so let’s take a look at the betting.
OUTRIGHT
Crusaders 33/10 with Sportsbet (generally 3/1)
Blues 7/1 with Ladbrokes (as short as 9/2)
Reds 6/1 with Voltbet and Hollywood
Stormers 10/1 with Betxchange and Sportingbet
Waratahs 12/1 with Sportingbet
Sharks 14/1 with Sportingbet
Bulls 16/1 with Betxchange and World Sports Betting
Chiefs 18/1 with Betxchange and Hollywood
Lions 40/1 with Betxchange and Ladbrokes
Highlanders 33/1 with Voltbet and Sportingbet
Hurricanes 40/1 at Voltbet and Sportingbet
Brumbies 40/1 at Voltbet, Betxchange and Ladbrokes
Rebels 66/1 at Voltbet
Cheetahs 100/1 at Hollywood
Force 100/1 at Sportingbet and Hollywood
There has not been a tremendous amount of change since our last update but there has been solid money for the Crusaders who were 7/2 and Voltbet confirm on Twitter that the Blues, Reds and Bulls have received support in that order.
An interesting price movement which surprises me is the Highlanders who were 66/1 at last look but are now no bigger than 33/1.
One thing is for sure you will do well to shop around because on many teams there are some serious differences in opinion with the Stormers for example as short as 6/1 but as big as 10/1.
A quick look at the New Zealand Conference betting which we won’t preview (because I am already so invested in the Blues)
Crusaders 12/10 at Voltbet
Blues 5/2 at Ladbrokes
Chiefs 7/1 at Voltbet
Highlanders 20/1 at Sportingbet
Hurricanes 20/1 at Sportingbet
