WSB Logo Orange 80x80We have reached the last 8 of the Women’s World Cup and we suggest a bet in all 4 matches.

Let’s start with a look at the Outright Betting where England are currently trading as 12/5 favourites ahead of Spain at 7/2. You can get 5/1 France and Japan with Australia priced at 8/1, Sweden are 9/1, Netherlands 12/1 and Colombia are the rank outsiders at 28/1.

Spain v Netherlands – Click here to bet

Spain finished 2nd in their group with 2 victories and 1 loss and that loss came against Japan where they were hammered 4-0. They started short price favourites at 1/4 to beat Switzerland in the Round of 16 match and they had few problems winning 5-1.

The Netherlands topped their pool ahead of pre-tournament favourites, the United States with 2 wins and 1 draw, that draw coming against the United States 1-1. They then faced South Africa in their Round of 16 match and they justified 1/5 favouritism winning 2-0.

Spain were dominant in their Round of 16 fixture, but I can’t get that defeat to Japan out of my mind and I think that a solid Netherlands side can cause an upset here.

Suggested Bet: Netherlands win at 16/5

Japan v Sweden – Click here to bet

Japan topped Group C ahead of Spain with a 100% record scoring 11 goals without conceding. They were 15/20 favourites to beat Norway in the Round of 16 and they duly delivered winning 3-1.

Sweden topped their group ahead of South Africa with a 100% record. They were priced up at 22/10 underdogs against the USA in the Round of 16 and after the game finished goalless at the end of extra time, it was Sweden who won the penalty shoot-out.

These sides last met in the Olympic Games in 2020 with Sweden winning 3-1.

I have been really impressed with Japan in this Tournament in particularly with their defence and I think they can win what should be a very tough game.

Suggested Bet: Japan win at 13/10

Australia v France – Click here to bet

Australia topped their group ahead of Nigeria with 2 victories and 1 loss, that loss coming 2-3 against Nigeria. Australia met Denmark in the Round of 16 where they started a shade under even money to get the win and they put in what for me was the best performance of the Tournament with goals in each half for a 2-0 victory.

France finished top of Group F, 2 points ahead of Jamaica with 2 victories and 1 draw. That draw was a goalless match against Jamaica. France were short priced favourites to beat Morocco in the Round of 16 and they delivered with ease winning 4-0.

Australia haven't been firing on all cylinders in this Tournament, but their round of 16 result gives me hope that they can push France all the way and I am going to back a 90 minute draw here.

Suggested Bet: The draw at 23/10

England v Colombia – Click here to bet

England topped Group D ahead of Denmark with a 100% record scoring 8 goals and conceding just 1. They were 1/4 favourites to beat Nigeria in their Round of 16 game, but were pushed all the way eventually winning 4-2 on penalties after the match was goalless after extra time.

Colombia topped Group H on goal difference ahead of Morocco with 2 victories and 1 loss. Their biggest result was a 2-1 win over Germany and their loss came 1-0 against Morocco. They were 12/10 favourites to beat Jamaica in the Round of 16 and scored in the 51st minute for a 1-0 victory.

England are 8/15 favourites to win the game while Colombia, the outsiders at 13/2, but I am not expecting this to be as one-sided as the betting suggests and I am going to have a correct score play here of England to win 1-0 at 3/1.

Suggested Bet: Correct Score, England 1-0 at 3/1.
