Premier League Matchday 3 Preview

The Premier League is now in full swing with Matchday 3 bringing us several eye-catching games! Have a look at what we`ve picked this week.

Manchester United vs. Nottingham Forest

Manchester United needs to bounce back from an embarrassing 2-0 defeat to Tottenham, seeing them slot into 12th place. The Red Devils created ample goalscoring chances, but the lack of finishing cost them the game. Luckily for them, they return to Old Trafford - holding a 30-game unbeaten home run and have not lost to Nottingham in Manchester since 1994.

Forest bounced back from the Arsenal defeat with a 2-1 victory over Brentford. Forest are unlikely to follow up, as their Premier League form has been abysmal - having won just 1 game on the road last season. They have failed to beat United in 12 consecutive fixtures, and considering both sides` home and away form, we expect Manchester United to win and under 2.5 goals. BET HERE

Brighton vs. West Ham

Brighton continued to impress punters with a 4-1 victory over Wolves, totalling their goals to 8 in just 2 opening games. The Seagulls have been fairly strong at the seaside, having lost just 5 home games in the Premier League last season, and with their current goal-scoring form are likely to put on a show for the home fans.

The Hammers improved on their start with a 3-1 Derby victory over Chelsea. Although their confidence will be high, they have last beaten Brighton at the Amex Stadium back in 2011, when both sides were in the Championship. Their last game ended in a 4-0 victory to the Seagulls, and considering their current attacking display, we can`t see it go West Ham`s way. We expect Brighton to win and over 2.5 goals in the game. BET HERE

Newcastle vs. Liverpool

Newcastle will be looking to return to winning ways following a 1-0 defeat to Man City, having beaten Villa 5-1 in the opening game. The Magpies hold a home advantage, having nearly fortified St. James` Park completely last season. However, they have failed to beat Liverpool in front of the home games in 6 consecutive games, with the Reds winning 4 of those, and having beaten the Magpies in their last 2 trips to Newcastle.

Liverpool will be confident heading to Newcastle following a 3-1 victory over Bournemouth. The Reds have been a headache for Newcastle, having denied the Magpies of a win in 13 consecutive games. Their last 4 meetings all went to Liverpool`s way. However, Newcastle seem to be a stronger team this season, and it`s hard to give a straight win to Klopp. We expect both teams to score and over 2.5 goals. BET HERE
