After that they suffered 4 consecutive defeats before sealing their play off spot with a 9 wicket win over the Cobras in their final round robin match. They finished just a single point behind the Dolphins in the standings with an identical record of 5 wins, 4 defeats and 1 no result but the Dolphins had secured an extra bonus point.
The Warriors shared the 1 Day Cup title with the Dolphins last season after no play was possible in the 2 days earmarked for the final.

Although the Warriors form tailed off in the round robin stage they have upset many favourites in this competition over this season and last and it would be danger to underestimate them.
