Coming into the final round of matches which both share the same kick off time the Netherlands and Ecuador have 4 points, Senegal have 3 and Qatar have yet to earn a point and can no longer qualify for the knockout rounds.

Ecuador 1.45/1 Draw 2.15/1 Senegal 21/10

Ecuador

Ecuador are in a strong position but there is still work to do to secure a place in the knockout rounds, namely avoiding defeat here. They played out a 1-1 draw with the Netherlands last time out, a crucial point which kept them ahead of Senegal in the standings. Enner Valencia, who scored both goals in the first half of their 2-0 win over Qatar in the opening match was again the hero, equalizing early in the second half to cancel out a 6th minute strike from the Dutch.

Valencia picked up a knock in the dying moments of the game against the Dutch, watch the media for news of his well being.

Senegal

Senegal kept themselves in contention with a 3-1 win over Qatar, their first points of the tournament. They had to wait until just before half time for Dia to open the scoring against the hosts, Diédhiouadded a second just after the break and after Qatar pulled one back Dieng sealed the win on 84 minutes.

Senegal lost their opening match against the Netherlands by a 2-0 scoreline after they conceded 2 late goals. They troubled the Dutch defence on a number of occasions and made their keeper work more than once but it wasn't to be.

The Verdict:

Ecuador were a bit unfortunate not to beat the Dutch who really ought to put Qatar away, meaning a draw should be good enough for Ecuador to go through but defeat would likely see them eliminated.

It's an intriguing game and Senegal are far from out of it. I'm thinking the second half could see Senegal giving it a real go and I fancy they will score after the break regardless of whether that is enough to take them through.

Netherlands 1 / 5 Draw 5.88/1 Qatar 13/1

Netherlands

Cody Gakpo gave the Dutch the early lead against Ecuador but they found it tough going thereafter and failed to trouble the opposition keeper again.

First time out Gakpo also broke the deadlock against Senegal on 84 minutes and in the ninth minute of injury time substitute Davy Klaassen made sure the Dutch made a winning start. Memphis Depay came off the bench in both those matches and may be nearing a starting place after an injury lay off.

Qatar

The host nation have only pride to play for. What proved to be a consolation goal from Muntari against Senegal is all they have to show for their efforts so far. Their display against Senegal was far superior to what they showed in that 2-0 defeat to Ecuador in the opening match of the tournament.

The Verdict:

It's fair to say the Netherlands have yet to find top gear but although we have seen some major surprises in the group matches, I can't see them fluffing their lines here.

Gapko has emerged as a key player and gets the vote to be on target anytime and I will nibble at 3-0 in the correct score market..
