- well done Thursday! Turffontein Inside Saturday: Race 1 - Blunderbore (22/10) - Can go one better than half-sister, Make Believe, went yesterday. Good 3rd on debut behind Berry Lancer who came out and won again on Thursday. Stable confident of a big run, reported working well back at home. Race 2 - Champagne Air (19/10) should enjoy step up to 1600m. Had two subsequent winners 4.5 and 5l in front of him in most recent run. Should be cherry-ripe today. Fourie/Magner combo always one to follow. Race 3 - Midnight Show (8/1 e/w) beaten by Imyourhuckleberry and One Eye On Dubai in most recent outing. Also finished just in front of a certain Duke Of Lorraine in only run over C&D. Massive respect for Green Fairway (7/2) who finished under 2l behind the winner on debut and has a lot of scope for improvement. SW/Box Ex 2x7 Race 5 - His Majesty (9/1 in to 7/2) race over if the handicapper is to be believed. Jumps with a postage stamp weight of 51kgs thanks to the apprentice allowance. 2nd run after a long rest only concern. Race 6 - Radio Star (9/2 e/w) 6kgs better off with favorite, Calla Lagoon for a 4.55 length beating over 1450m. 2 wins from 4 over 1600m with the two unplaced efforts being in Grade 2 races. Pressonregardless (18/1) won 3 of his last 4 starts over 1600m. 2nd run after a rest, most probably aiming for the Charity Mile. Race 7 - Difficult too look past Walkinginthewoods (9/10) who beat the likes of Dreadnought and Berry Lancer with ease on debut. Winston's Wonder (13/10 top 4 places) narrowly beaten in only start over C&D. MR down 6 points since the start of the year. Has some form behind Errol Flynn and Trombolines. Race 8 - Naretoi (15/4) well in at the weights, enjoys the inside track. Richard Fourie booked to ride. Knowmore (4/1) steps up in trip, but has been running against stronger of late. Also enjoys the inside track. Penalised 3 points for finishing 2nd in most recent run.
