Emilia Romagna Grand Prix 2024

Last year’s race saw a brilliant battle between Verstappen and Norris for the win. Verstappen managed to just beat Norris and finish only 0.725 seconds ahead of him at the end of the race. Leclerc grabbed yet another podium in front of the home support from the Ferrari fans. Oscar Piastri finished in fourth place.

VERDICT

Lando Norris put in a brilliant fight last year against Verstappen to finish in second place, however, this year he knows Verstappen does not have a car as strong as last year. He has finished second in three of his last five races and is just that one step away from his second win of the season. Norris also won’t want to let Piastri get too much of a gap in the Drivers’ Championship and I think he will have what it takes to win the race this weekend.

This bet comes with money back “insurance” should be run 2nd – see below

Suggested Bet: Lando Norris to win at 2.50.

Alex Albon has been building some good momentum and finding the pace with his car as we settle into the season. He finished an impressive fifth for the second time this year, last weekend. Albon has finished in the top ten in five of the six races this year and keeps on challenging that top six finish. I am backing him to deliver another top six finish.

Suggested Bet: Alex Albon top 6 finish at 3.75.
