The opening match of the series was staged at Paarl on Tuesday and the Proteas came out on top by all of 9 wickets. West Indies posted 173/7 (Hetmyer 48) and the Proteas chased it down in 17.5 overs with Lhuan-dre Pretorius (44), Aiden Markram (unbeaten on 86) and Rickleton (40 not out) all in the runs.
Centurion was the venue for the second contest on Thursday and the Proteas won by 7 wickets to claim the series.
South Africa won the toss and opted to bowl first and West Indies posted a very healthy 221/4. King (49), Hetmyer (75) and Rutherford (57 not out) did the bulk of the damage, West Indies cleared the ropes 11 time and Maharaj (2/22) was the stand out Proteas bowler.
In reply Quinton de Kock smashed 115 off just 49 balls including 10 of his sides 14 maximums. Rickleton was not out 77 when the chase was completed in 17.3 overs. Akeal Hosien took 2 wickets and de Kock was the Man of the Match.

I can see scope for changes here, especially on the Proteas side with a number of batters having missed out on time at the crease due to the form of the top 3 so I’m focusing on the Windies markets.
