A betting preview and tips for the 2026 T20 World Cup matches taking place on Tuesday 10th February including Netherlands v Namibia, New Zealand v UAE and Pakistan v USA
TIME FOR A TESTING TUESDAY – Tuesday 10 February
A testing Tuesday awaits the sides in action in India and Sri Lanka.
NAMIBIA v NETHERLANDS, Delhi
Delhi gets its first taste of the action as Namibia and the Netherlands square off.
The Dutch couldn’t clutch a crucial catch in the 39th over of their game against Pakistan and that almost certainly cost them the result after they looked favourites to cause an upset in the tournament opener.
Scotland bounced back beautifully from a rather narrow defeat to their more fancied opponents (West Indies) by dominating Italy on Monday and the Netherlands would like to show the same resilience when they get the chance against “lesser” opponents. But will they pass this test with flying colours?
Top Match Batter – Colin Ackermann @ 9.00 with Pokerbet
Ackermann looked like a dux pupil striking four crips boundaries before being cleaned up. Since I’m expecting Netherlands to dominate the clash, the bigger price for the match bat is preferred.
Top Match Bowler – Bernard Scholtz @ 8.50 with Pokerbet
If the Durch share their wickets around then two or 3 sticks from the Nambian veteran could be enough. Spin should be getting the A grades on this pitch.

NEW ZEALAND v UAE, Chennai
The United Arab Emirates will have to be very united indeed as they line up against the Kiwis in their first taste of ICC T20 World Cup action for 2026. UAE could very well be like school pupils waiting to see the headmaster – but will it be for a pat on the back or shots on the backside?
Chennai proved a good deck for batting with New Zealand able to chase down the 182 set by Afghanistan. The Black Caps return to repeat the strong batting effort they gave on Sunday. It could end up as a bit of a schooling for the Arabs.
Top New Zealand Bowler – Michael Bracewell @ 6.50 with Pokerbet
If he is fit Bracewell should come in for Neesham. Santner was a menace in Chennai, and he will surely want a first-choice spinner partner.
Player to score most sixes – Finn Allen @ 5.50
Allen missed out in the first game and despite struggling with his shoulder a bit I think the powerful opener will be keen to make his mark on the tournament. He has the ideal chance to test that shoulder with plenty of big hits against the UAE.
The Pakistani’s have the advantage of having battled through to a tight victory in Colombo last time out but I’m not convinced they hold much advantage here.
All is not well with Pakistan cricket at the moment, and I feel it’s starting to show on the field. Salman Agha’s team looked short of confidence and showing little cricket smarts. Have they done their homework after their last outing or will the examination presented by the States prove too difficult an assignment…
Pakistan a 50 to be scored in the match – No @ 2.59 with Pokerbet
They made a meal of the batting aspect last time out and run-scoring should be tricky.
Pakistan Top Batsman – Mohammad Nawaz @ 19.00 with Pokerbet
I’m going for the big prize here. If the Paki batsmen strike out then the experienced Nawaz might just have to try and play a steady hand to get them to the next grade.
To win the game – USA @ 6.05 with Pokerbet
Pakistan scraped through against the Netherlands and whilst I expect the Dutch to offer more than USA I still think the team form the Sub-Continent have a real chance at flunking this exam.
