Betway Premiership action continues this weekend and our focus is on Saturday's games between Sekhukhune and Golden Arrows and then Sundowns v Durban City

Sekhukhune 15/20 Draw 22/10 Golden Arrows 5/1

Sekhukhune's record is of the unbeaten variety, 5 wins and 1 draw and they are 1 point clear of Sundowns at the top of the log with a game in hand. A fine 3-1 win away to previously unbeaten Kaizer Chiefs in midweek saw Grobler on target twice and they have scored a total of 11 goals so far whilst conceding just 2. Their only dropped points this season came in a 1-1 draw at home to Amazulu.

Arrows have 7 points to show from their first 6 matches. The bulk of those points were earned in home wins over Magesi and Richards Bay and their only point in 3 road trips came from a 1-1 draw in a derby against Durban City. In their last 2 league outings Arrows were beaten at home by Kaizer Chiefs (1-0) and away at Polokwane (2-1).

Verdict

Sehukhune have some experienced campaigners such as Grobler and after hitting top spot in midweek I can see them keeping their excellent run going by finding the net at least twice here.

Bet: Sekhukhune Total Goals, over 1.5 at 14/10 with SuperSportBet

Sundowns 1 / 3 Draw 4/1 Durban City 11/1

Downs missed an opportunity to go top of the standings on Wednesday night when they played out a 1-1 draw away to Marumo Gallants. They finished the midweek program in second spot, 1 point behind league leaders Sekhukhune (who have played 1 game fewer) with a record 4 wins and 3 draws. This is only the third Betway Premiership home fixture for Sundowns, the others delivered wins over Amazulu (2-0) and Magesi (3-0) and they have kept clean sheets in 5 of 7 league outings overall.

Durban City come into the weekend in a lofty fourth place with 11 points from their first 6 league games. Away from home they won at TS Galaxy (2-0) on the opening weekend, they drew 0-0 at Polokwane and their only defeat so far came away to Sekhukhune (2-0). In midweek Durban City ran out 2-0 winners at home to Siwelele.

Verdict

I'm really struggling to call Sundowns games correctly, they may be unbeaten and keeping clean sheets but 3 draws in 7 falls below expectations in terms of results.

Gavin Hunt has City in good shape but this is as tough as it gets and I'll go with Sundowns to lead at half time and full time.
