After seven rounds of the English Premier League matches the standings are beginning to take shape and with the teams now on a break for internationals, we take the opportunity to look at some of the key stats and outright betting markets.
The Title Race
Arsenal go into the break at the top of the standings with 16 points, 1 clear of Liverpool, and 2 better off than Spurs and Bournemouth who are third and fourth. Manchester City have 13 points and Crystal Palace round out the top 6 with 12.

Sunderland with 11 points are faring the best of the newly promoted sides but the betting to be relegated at the end of the season suggests theyare far from certain to stay up.

Erling Halaand has already bagged 9 goals and is 0.28/1 to finish as top EPL goalscorer. Semenyo of Bournemouth has 6 and can be backed at 16/1. Players who will be expected to find the net on a more regular basis than we have seen so far include Viktor Gyokeres (3 goals and currently trading at 10/1) and Mo Salah (2 goals, 16/1). Alexander Isak, who has is looking for his first league goal for Liverpool is also a 16/1 shot.

After 7 rounds of matches 5 games involving Chelsea, Liverpool, West Ham and Brentford have seen backers of over 2.5 goals collect.
At the other end of the scale backers of over 2.5 goals in matches involving Newcastle and Sunderland have collected just twice.

Brentford come out tops here with 4 of their 7 games seeing 4 goals or more scored in total.
