Winning Form selections for all races from @Hollywoodbets Durbanville on Saturday 27th September where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

EBISU made the expected natural improvement when second over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. She cost herself winning that day as she hung in the closing stages. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. If not too green around the turn, she can go one better.

LAYDELAY ran on well when second over this C&D last time. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight is a progressive type and should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

CALANQUE finished 1.25 lengths behind the second selection on debut. She raced wide around the turn, hung outwards but the manner in which she finished off her race was encouraging. She would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should be competitive.

Race 2

EISTEDDFOD showed good improvement when second over this C&D last time. She may have cost herself winning that day as she hung in the final 300m. The daughter of Potala Palace is a progressive type and from her good draw of two, she can go one better.

PANJANDRUM ran a fair race when third over 1000m on this course last time. The daughter of Rafeef stayed on at the finish that day and will love the rise to 1250m. She is coming along the right way and is one of the leading contenders.

SWIFT SERENITY‘S last three starts have been good. She was unlucky last time as the bit went through her mouth. She jumps from pole position and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she should be competitive.

Race 3

PRIMAL INSTINCT produced a promising debut effort when second over 1250m on this course. He moved up well before getting caught in the shadow of the post by Typically French. The son of Vercingetorix would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one to beat.

THAT‘LL B THE DAY showed good pace over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time before getting caught late by Love My Style. The son of Vercingetorix steps up to 1400m and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he should pose a threat.

GREEK HEIRESS made the expected natural improvement when second over this C&D last time. She stayed on at the finish that day but found one too good in the form of Red Coral. With a bit of luck from her awkward draw of nine, she should give the males a run for their money.

Race 4

DELTA PRIDE is the best bet on the programme. He has finished second in both his career efforts to date. He raced from just off the pace over 1250m last time, tried hard but found one too good in the form of Nightrain. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The son of Hawwaam has cracked pole position and should love the rise to 1400m. Richard Fourie is booked to ride, and he should take a power of beating.

GALE WARNING showed good improvement over 1250m on this course last time. That was his first effort as a gelding. He will strip much fitter and with luck in running, he may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

ALESSIA ASHEVILLE has fair consistent form lines to her name. She carries a light mass thanks to 4kgs claiming Apprentice Varun Jodhee. The daughter of Erupt can finish in the placings.

Race 5

ROCKANROLLIN was unlucky not to have won his last start over 1400m on this course. He was switched for running room at the 450m mark and finished off his race strongly. The son of Wootton Bassett should love the rise to 1800m and with a bit of luck in running, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

LOMU stayed on when third over 1600m on this course last time. The son of Captain Of All should have no issues with the rise to 1800m and he is one of the leading contenders.

WONDERFUL TONIGHT stayed on when fourth over 1900m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. The son of Ideal World has scope and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

Race 6

CALL TO UNITE ran a fair race when fifth in his comeback run over 1600m on this course last time. He stayed on at the finish and was reported to have choked up. The son of Vercingetorix won this race last year. He will strip a much fitter horse and with luck in running, he can defend his title.

THE FUTURIST stayed on at the finish when fourth over 1500m on the Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Winter course last time. He has won twice and finished second twice from eight starts on this track. The 7yo gelding cannot be discounted.

TIME FOR LOVE has good form lines to her credit. She took her place in the Listed East Cape Paddock Stakes last time. She has won once, finished second once and third twice from five starts on this course. Craig Zackey is likely to go forward on her, and she should give the males a run for their money.

Race 7

Trainer Dean Kannemeyer holds a strong hand in this contest and he can saddle the first two past the post. KEUKENHOF was running on well when 0.95 lengths behind PRINCESS OF GAUL last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today. The daughter of The United States will love the rise to 1400m and if suited to this course, she can notch up her second-career victory.

PRINCESS OF GAUL showed guts when winning the Grade 2 World Pool With Race Coast Debutante last time. The daughter of Vercingetorix clearly has class about her and can remain unbeaten.

BE MERRY is better than her last start in the Grade 2 HKJC World Pool Tibouchina Stakes last time. The 16-week break would have done her the world of good. The daughter of Lancaster Bomber is unbeaten from three starts on this course and will be looking to keep that record intact.

Race 8

This is a competitive Matchem Stakes field and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is QUESTIONING from the Vaughan Marshall stable. He is better than his last start in the Grade 1 Mercury Sprint. The son of Querari won this race last year with the same weight and he is unbeaten from four starts on this track. He thrives in the Western Cape and with Richard Fourie in the saddle, he can return to winning ways.

SUGAR MOUNTAIN is a winner of his last three starts. He returns from a well- deserved 11-week break. The 7yo gelding is suited to this course and merits healthy respect.

CAFE CULTURE was running on when fifth in the Grade 1 Mercury Sprint last time. Three of his seven career victories have come on this course. He jumps from pole position and should have a say.

Race 9

KLEINZEE caught the eye when staying on at the finish in her comeback run over 1400m on the Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Winter course last time. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight would have come on from the run and should love the rise to 1800m. She has cracked a good draw of four and may be the one to beat.

BENEATH THE CLOUDS has good consistent form lines to her name. It must be noted that the horse that finished third in her last outing has come out and won since. She is unbeaten from two starts over this distance and will be looking to keep that record intact.

TWO A PENNY was an easy winner of her last start over 1950m on the Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Winter course. She finished 5 lengths behind the second choice in her penultimate run. She is 3kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

Race 10

This is a competitive D Stakes to close the meeting and caution is advised. The tentative first choice is FORT RED from the Mike Stewart stable. He was not beaten far in the Non-Black Type Winter Country Championship 1200 Final. He has finished second once and third once from as many starts over this C&D. He will be cherry-ripe for this outing and with luck in running, he can return to winning ways.

MELA STRENGTH has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. Interestingly, he drops to 1000m and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

GRAVITY finished 3.55 lengths behind COUNTRY TIME last time. He is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and that is enough for the tables to be turned
