Winning Form selections for all races from @Hollywoodbets Durbanville on Wednesday 8th October where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

PRINCE OF EGYPT showed good improvement when third over this C&D last time. He showed good speed before getting outrun late. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The son of Vercingetorix is a progressive type and may be hard to peg back.

JOUEUR DE FLUTE tried hard when second over 1400m on this course last time. He finished third in his only attempt over this C&D. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, he may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

GALLIC KING is an unraced son of Vercingetorix from the James Crawford stable with Luyolo Mxothwa in the saddle. He is related to five-time winner Ideal Gift. If not too green in running, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances.

Race 2

VIXENS WAR has shown good improvement with each outing. She should have won her last start over this C&D as she had to be switched at the 300m mark. The daughter of Act Of War is the stable elect with Chad Little in the saddle, and with luck in running, she may be the one to beat.

NANNIE GOLD was not beaten far in her last start over this C&D. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. From pole position, she should be right there.

STAR WORLD showed good improvement over this C&D last time. Richard Fourie is booked to ride and if jumping on terms, she may be the one to spoil the Kotzen party.

Race 3

ALL THE RAGE was super-impressive when winning his last start over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. The son of Rafeef returns from a 10-week break which would have done him the world of good. He looks to have plenty of class about him and may be the one to side with.

GOOD FOR YOU comes off a victory in the Grade 1 Gold Medallion. He returns from a 19-week break and makes his seasonal debut. The son of Legislate merits healthy respect.

GIMMELIGHTNING was running on when third over 1400m on this course last time. He faces a tough task at the weights but has the form to be competitive. He is carded to race on 05 October 2025 and his progress in that race will need to be monitored.

Race 4

IN MOTION showed good speed over 1250m on this course last time before getting outrun late by Astronomical Boy. The son of Royal Mo is a progressive type and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he can go one better.

BEWARE finished 0.45 lengths behind the top choice on debut. The son of Rafeef was green in running that day and would have gained from the experience. He will love the rise in distance and with luck in running, he should be competitive.

KLEIN KAROO stayed on when fourth over 1400m on this course last time. He will strip a much fitter horse and Aldo Domeyer may be able to get the best out of him where it matters most.

Race 5

REET PETITE caught the eye when winning on debut over 1250m on this course. She took time to find her feet that day, but finished off her race strongly. The daughter of Rafeef will love the rise to 1500m. She does take on stronger, but could be anything and can remain unbeaten.

BEACH VERSE was given a peach of a ride when winning her maiden over this C&D last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The well-bred daughter of Vercingetorix is one of the leading contenders.

MUSIC OF THE NIGHT has good recent form lines to her name. She takes a drop in class and with luck from the widest draw, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

Race 6

MIDWAY was a tad disappointing in his last start over 1400m on this course. His form prior to that outing was consistent. The son of Pomodoro is likely to race on the speed and he may be the one to side with.

PRINCE OF TIBET raced from just off the pace last time, but found one too good in the form of Worldly. It is encouraging that Richard Fourie retains the ride, and he should pose a threat.

MY BESTIE ran a fair race over 1800m on this course last time. The 8yo gelding takes a drop in class and despite his big mass of 64.5kgs, he cannot be ignored.

Race 7

VIVA‘S LIBERTE was an easy winner on debut over 1250m on this course. The son of Vercingetorix showed a good turn of foot that day. He found betting support which suggests that he was showing good work at home. It must be noted that the horse that finished third has come out and won since. He does take on stronger, but could be anything and may be up to the task at hand.

BLIND DATE followed up his maiden win with a decent fifth-place finish over 1500m on this course. He has cracked a good draw of three and should be right there at the finish.

CARRIACOU moved up well in the Non-Black Type Winter Country Championship 1500 Final last time, but found one too good in the form of Happy Verse. He is having his peak run and should be the first older horse past the post.

Race 8

UKUDUMA is unbeaten from two starts. She set the pace in the Listed Irridescence Stakes last time and lasted long enough. The well-bred daughter of Vercingetorix returns from a 16-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. The drop to 1250m should not be an issue. She looks to have class about her and can remain unbeaten.

ELECTROMAGNETISM finished 0.05 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

EDUCATOR is better than her last start in the Grade 2 SplashOut Golden Slipper. She returns from a 14-week break and is making her seasonal debut. The daughter of One World has ability and can find a form return.

Race 9

COMMANDING was not beaten far in his last start in the Non-Black Type Winter Country Championship 1200 Final. The son of William Longsword has dropped in the ratings and takes a drop in class. With a bit of luck from his awkward draw of eight, he can notch up his second-career victory.

ISCHYRO stayed on when fourth over 1400m on this course last time. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. He runs well for Oswald Noach and should produce an honest effort.

CHAPBOOK was an easy winner when shedding his maiden tag over 1100m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. He returns from a 14-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. He does take on stronger, but has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand
