Winning Form selections for Fairview on Friday 10th October where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

RACE 1

SOMBREUIL showed good improvement in her last start over this C&D. The daughter of What A Winter showed pace before getting touched off. The blinkers seem to have done the trick on the daughter of What A Winter. Muzi Yeni retains the ride, and she may be the one to side with in this line-up.

HOLLY‘S KISS is an unraced daughter of Global View from the Alan Greeff stable with Richard Fourie in the saddle. She is related to two-time winner Dark Silver. If not in need of this outing, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances.

ELUSIVE BLACK returns from a 52-week break and is having his first run for the Gavin Smith stable. He was gelded during his time off the track. The son of Elusive Fort has scope and if not in need of the outing, he can show.

RACE 2

ROMAN AGENT challenged strongly over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time, but found one too good in the form of Elusive Winter. The son of Vercingetorix is having his first run for the Kelly Mitchley stable. If settled into his new surroundings, he can notch up his third-career victory.

TRAVEL MASTER has some good recent form lines to his credit. He finished 1 length behind MASKED VIGILANTE in his penultimate run. He is 3.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He is having his peak run and will be cherry-ripe.

MASKED VIGILANTE kept finding to win his last start over this C&D. He received a three-pound penalty for that victory. The 7yo gelding is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

RACE 3

MONEY GALORE raced from just off the pace in a work riders race last time but found one too good in the form of Away With Red. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. She finished 1.75 lengths behind LOTUS SILK in her penultimate run. She is 7.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. With her light mass, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

GOLDEN CROC found one too good in the form of East Coast Girl last time. If finding the form of her penultimate run when second on this course, she should pose a threat.

LOTUS SILK stayed on when second over 1200m on this course, on debut. She was a beaten odds-on favourite that day. The daughter of Rafeef would have gained from the experience and she should love the rise to 1400m. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should be competitive.

RACE 4

NEW MEXICO is unbeaten from two starts since relocating to the Eastern Cape. He showed a good turn of foot to win his last start over this C&D. He may still be ahead of the handicapper and despite his big mass of 62kgs, he can bring up the hat-trick.

IGUGULETHU was running on when second over this distance on the polytrack last time. He has won twice and finished third twice from as many starts over this C&D. If Luyolo Mxothwa is able to switch him off early, he should throw out a big challenge to the top choice.

ONE SCOTCH set the pace over 1600m on the polytrack last time, fought hard but found one too good in the form of Global State. He has won over this distance previously and if getting his own way in front, he may be hard to peg back.

RACE 5

BACK FOR MORE was given a well-timed ride when winning her last start over 1600m on this course. She gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Girish Dookhit which will assist her cause. She is in a good space and can follow up with another victory.

FLASH LIGHTNING should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung inwards in the final 200m. He finished 0.25 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate effort. He is 2.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may battle to turn the form around.

RICHARDTHEFEARLESS was given a peach of a ride when winning his last start over 1900m on the polytrack. He took the lead at the 700m mark and won with a ton in hand. With a bit of luck in running, he should be involved in the fight to the finish.

Race 6

INSTAWORTHY was an impressive winner of her last start over this distance on the polytrack. She set the pace, found another kick and won with a ton in hand. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. She has won once and finished third twice from four starts on this course. The daughter of Canford Cliffs may be the one to beat.

KINGS AGAIN tried hard when third over 1000m on the polytrack last time. This is her first effort on this track and if suited, she should be involved at the finish.

BONJOUR LA VILLE won a good race over this C&D last time. She takes a rise in class but has ability. Muzi Yeni retains the ride and the combination should be competitive.

RACE 7

BENEATH THE MOON won a good race over this C&D last time, at a nice price. She moved up well under Malesela Katjedi and kept finding to hold all challengers at bay. She meets a similar line-up this afternoon and can follow up with another victory.

CAPE CAPRI finished 1.75 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

FARAWAY GIRL finished 1.5 lengths behind the top selection in the race referred to above. She is 0.5kgs better off at the weights and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

RACE 8

TOKYO MEDAGLIA stayed on when fifth over this C&D last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of William Longsword takes a drop in class and gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Damyan Pillay. He is having his third run in the Eastern Cape and may be the one to side with.

GLOBETONIC won a game race over 1400m on this course last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

KING VISERYS ran on strongly to win his first start for the Jacques Strydom stable over 1000m on the polytrack. He has found a new lease of life in the Eastern Cape and cannot be discounted.

RACE 9

BUFFALO BILL finished 1.25 lengths behind RAVILIOUS last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today. The son of Buffalo Bill Cody may be at his best over this distance. He is a horse with plenty of scope and should be the one to beat.

RAVILIOUS was given a peach of a ride when winning his last start over this distance on the polytrack. He won over 1200m on this course under 4kgs claiming Apprentice Bavish Soodoo, three runs ago. The son of Global View is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

HALCYON returns from an 11-week break and is having his first run for Alan Greeff. Richard Fourie is booked to ride, and there should be good improvement to come from him
