Winning Form selections for Fairview on Friday 19th September where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge
RACE 1
MONEY GALORE was reported to be not striding out in her last start over this C&D. Her first three career outings were fair. The daughter of Rafeef carries a handy galloping mass of 55.5kgs. She gets the services of capable work rider Xola Jacobs and may be the horse to side with.
AMERICAN MATADOR has fair consistent form lines to his name. It must be noted that the horse that finished second in his last outing has come out and won since. He gets the blinkers re-fitted and is one of the leading contenders.
AWAY WITH RED raced from just off the pace over this C&D last time but found one too good in the form of Pop Chart. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The son of Red Ray should earn another cheque for his patrons.
RACE 2
DIRECT HIT is the best bet on the programme. She won a good race in the Grade 1 Allan Robertson Championship at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. The daughter of Canford Cliffs returns from a 16-week break which would have done her the world of good. She is the class horse and should keep her unbeaten record intact.
MONTELENA‘S last three starts have been good. She was doing her best work late over 1400m on the polytrack last time. She finished 0.05 lengths behind SWEETIE DARLING, three runs ago. She is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.
SWEETIE DARLING is better than her last start over 1400m on the polytrack. The daughter of Royal Mo is unbeaten from two starts over this C&D and merits healthy respect.
RACE 3
BENEATH THE MOON is better than her last start over 1400m on the polytrack. She finished fourth in her previous two efforts over this distance. The 6yo mare is a better horse when ridden from off the pace. She carries a handy galloping mass of 54.5kgs and can notch up her third-career victory.
JAPANESE GARDEN won a good race when shedding her maiden tag over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. She is having her first run for Cliffie Miller and if settled into her new surroundings, she should go close.
ICE CAP has consistent form lines to her name. She has won once and finished third once from as many starts over this C&D. The daughter of Gold Standard should run another honest race.
RACE 4
SPORTS FAN is lightly raced with good form lines to her credit. She followed up her maiden victory with a good second-place finish over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The daughter of What A Winter is having her first run for Alan Greeff. She has ability and if fit, she should be the horse to beat.
FIERY COUNTESS won a good race over 1200m on the polytrack last time. She gets the services of 4kgs claiming apprentice Bavish Soodoo which should assist her cause. The daughter of Fire Away may be the one to fill the exacta spot.
SMASHING has good form lines to her credit. She has won twice, finished second once and third three times from seven starts on this course. The daughter of Rafeef merits healthy respect.
RACE 5
FLASH LIGHTNING was running on when third over 1400m on the turf last time. The son of Visionaire has dropped to a competitive rating. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from his awkward draw of eight and will be mowing down the frontrunners.
BACK FOR MORE fought hard over 2000m on the polytrack last time. The drop to 1600m should not pose a concern as she has won over the distance previously. Should the top choice fluff his lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.
BEER WITH THE BOYS was running on when second over this C&D last time. He is in a good space and from pole position, he should be involved at the finish.
Race 6
OUTBACK EXPRESS has finished second in his last two starts over 1900m on the polytrack. He crossed the finishing line in front last time, but was demoted after causing interference with Cheap Thrills. If Chase Maujean is able to keep him on a straight line, he can shed his maiden tag.
BOMBER BAY should have finished closer to the winner last time. There was two false starts before that race. Craig Zackey steps back into the saddle, and he should be competitive.
SEMPRE BELLA set the pace over 1900m last time and stayed on to finish third. He finished second in his only attempt over this distance. The son of Querari is the stable elect with Muzi Yeni in the saddle and he can go close.
RACE 7
MY BEST SHOT showed signs of needing his seasonal debut last time. He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. Seven of his ten career victories have come on this course. He is likely to be switched off near the rear of the field and will be running on. The son of Fire Away is the horse to beat.
ROYAL AUSSIE ran a good race when second in the Listed Memorial Mile last time. Muzi Yeni retains the ride and with luck in running, he should be competitive.
FIREALLEY kept finding to win his last start over 1900m on the polytrack. He has won once and finished third three times from seven starts over this distance. He jumps from pole position and merits obvious consideration.
RACE 8
FRENCH FLAME finished 1.25 lengths behind NEW MEXICO last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He would have come on from the run and can go one better.
GRAND ALLEGRO finished 1.75 lengths behind NEW MEXICO in the race referred to above. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and should turn the form around. If jumping on terms, he should be involved at the finish.
NEW MEXICO won a good race over this C&D last time. He was reported to be distressed that day. The son of Ideal World meets a similar line-up and can follow up with another victory
