Winning Form selections for Fairview on Friday 24th October where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

RACE 1

RIPSNORTER is having her first run for the Juan Nel stable. She found betting support when sixth over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. The daughter of One World has scope and may enjoy the step up to 1200m. If settled into her new surroundings, she may have good improvement to come.

MONEY GALORE is better than her last start as she was reported to have over reached. Her first five career outings were fair. The daughter of Rafeef carries a handy galloping mass of 52kgs and is one of the leading contenders.

ELUSIVE BOMBA is better than her last start as she received a bump leaving the start and was reported to be coughing. Her penultimate outing when fourth over 1000m on this course, catches the eye. Craig Zackey steps into the saddle and if putting her best foot forward, she should be competitive.

RACE 2

MAGNUS THE GOOD has improved since relocating to the Eastern Cape. He showed good speed in a work riders race over 1200m last time and tried hard all the way to the line. The son of Erik The Red should have no issues with the step up to 1400m. Calvin Habib steps back into the saddle and the combination may find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.

PIBE DE ORO was running on when third over 1600m on the polytrack last time. He finished second in his only attempt over this C&D, three runs ago. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

CLIFFIE CLAVIN should have finished closer to the winner last time as he was steadied at the 100m mark. He carries a light mass and jumps from pole position. With a bit of luck in running, it would be no surprise to see him shed his maiden tag.

RACE 3

STRANGE MAGIC was a tad disappointing over 1200m last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. Her three efforts prior to that outing were good. She gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Girish Dookhit which will assist her cause. She is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from her awkward draw of eight and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

HOERIKWAGGO stayed on strongly when second over 1200m on this course last time. The daughter of Canford Cliffs will love the rise to 1400m and from pole position, she is a big runner.

KAMAKAZI was touched off over this distance on the polytrack last time. She is having her peak run and should be cherry-ripe. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, she should feature.

RACE 4

ROYAL KINGDOM won a good race over 1300m on the polytrack last time. He showed a good turn of foot and won going away. The tongue-tie has done the trick on the son of William Longsword. He should be ideally suited to the extra 100m on offer and can follow up with another victory.

PEDRO was unlucky last time as he had to be steadied at the 100m mark. Wayne Agrella rides from pole position and he should get a good run in transit if jumping on terms.

SILVERY SURFER tried hard when second over this C&D last time. He meets a similar type of field and from his mid-field draw of five, he should be competitive.

RACE 5

HOME REEF is in top form heading into this race. He raced from a handy position over 2000m on the polytrack last time and fought hard to hold all challengers at bay. He won a good race in the Non- Black Type Port Elizabeth Gold Cup in his penultimate outing. The son of Erupt is clearly in a good space and can bring up the hat-trick.

GEORGE HANDEL ran on powerfully when winning his last start over 1800m on the polytrack. He finished 4.75 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate run. He is 4kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

FLIGHT DISPLAY kept finding to win her last start over 2000m on the polytrack. She returns from a well-deserved 10-week break which would have done her the world of good. She races well fresh and should give the males a run for their money.

Race 6

GOLDEN PALM is the best bet on the programme. She was super-impressive when winning the Grade 1 Douglas Whyte Thekwini Stakes last time. The daughter of Master Of My Fate returns from a 13-week break and makes her seasonal debut. She is a class above the rest of this field and should take a power of beating.

ARLU has been a tad disappointing in his last two starts. He finished 0.55 lengths behind KING PRAWN, three runs ago. He is 1kg better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

KING PRAWN found one too good in the form of Final Try last time. He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. The son of Master Of My Fate is a solid back-up for the Alan Greeff stable.

RACE 7

RIVERSTONE should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung inwards in the final 300m. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The 5yo gelding is having his first run in the Eastern Cape and if settled into his new surroundings, he can win.

BUFFALO BILL fought hard for his last victory over 1000m on this course. He received a six-pound penalty for that victory. The son of Buffalo Bill Cody takes on stronger, but he may still be ahead of the handicapper and may be up to the task at hand.

VIRGIN RIVER returns from a 22-week break and is having her first run for the Alan Greeff stable. She is the stable elect with Richard Fourie in the saddle. If not in need of the outing, she should give the males a run for their money.

RACE 8

QUEEN OF JAZZ showed good signs of a form return when second over this C&D last time. She received a bump at the 200m mark that day which didn’t help her chances. Craig Zackey retains the ride and if confirming her recent improvement, she can notch up her second-career victory.

GAELIC DANCER finished 0.25 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

BENEATH THE MOON finished 0.75 lengths behind the top selection in the race referred to above. The pair meet on the same weight terms today. The inside draw is a big plus and she cannot be discounted
