Winning Form selections for Fairview on Friday 27th February where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

RACE 1

JUST CARTER showed pace over 1000m on this course last time, but found one too good in the form of U S Ranger. The son of Hawwaam is a progressive type and should love the rise to 1200m. Craig Zackey is booked to ride and with experience on his side, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

OLAF THE STOUT is an unraced son of Erik The Red from the Alan Greeff Yard with Richard Fourie in the saddle. He is related to five-time winner Master Tobe. If not in need of the run, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to him and the other unraced entrants.

FLYING SKITT finished 7.25 lengths behind the top choice on debut. He is 4kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

RACE 2

PANJANDRUM is having her first outing for the Alan Greeff stable. She has good consistent form lines to her credit. She challenged strongly over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time, but found one too good in the form of Trailfinder. The daughter of Rafeef gets the tongue-tie fitted for the first time and if settled into her new surroundings, she can shed her maiden tag.

STONE OF SCONE should have finished closer last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. She will enjoy racing on the straight course and the cheekpieces should keep her mind on the task at hand. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

TIPSY finished 0.25 lengths behind ENGELANDPARK last time. She is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

RACE 3

HONORINE‘S GIMMIE is having his first run in the Eastern Cape for Trainer Dean Smith. The son of Gimmethegreenlight drops back to 1200m and the blinkers should sharpen him up. If settled into his new surroundings, he may be the one to beat in this line-up.

BLAME IT ON ME has finished second in his last two starts. It must be noted that multiple horses from his last form line have come out and won since. He drops back to 1200m and he is one of the leading contenders.

HERE COMES JOHNNY has finished third in his last two starts on this course. The son of What A Winter is a progressive individual and he may be hard to peg back.

RACE 4

GREEN ISLE raced from a handy position over this distance on the polytrack last time, tried hard but found one too good in the form of First Wish. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. She takes a drop in class and if taking to this track, she can go one better.

FLIGHT DISPLAY finished 0.1 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

TORI‘S GIRL finished 1 length behind SPOIL YOURSELF last time. She is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. She runs well for Xolani Ndlovu and merits healthy respect.

RACE 5

ANOTHERDANCEFORME is the top bet on the programme. She is better than her last start in the Grade 2 Western Cape Fillies Championship at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. The daughter of Master Of My Fate returns from a 16-week break which would have done her the world of good. She is the class horse in this contest, is unbeaten from five starts on this course and will be looking to keep that record intact.

ROYAL CITY GIRL is a winner of her last two starts, the latest of which was over 1400m on the polytrack. The daughter of Royal Mo faces her toughest test to date, but is in a good space and merits obvious consideration.

EAST COAST GIRL is better than her last start in the Non-Black Type Lady’s Bracelet as the jockey reported something to be amiss in running. She is a filly with ability and cannot be discounted.

Race 6

SILVONIAN has good consistent form lines to his credit. He raced from a handy position over this distance on the polytrack last time, but found one too good in the form of Mr Fox. He has won once, finished second three times and third once from nine starts on this course. Apprentice Girish Dookhit takes the 4kgs off his back and the combination may find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.

CHEEKY LADDIE was outrun late over this C&D last time. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. With a bit of luck in running, he should be competitive.

EXQUISITE was not beaten far over 1600m on the polytrack last time. She will strip much fitter and should give the males a run for their money.

RACE 7

CORAL CREEK showed good improvement in his last start over 1600m on this course. He was slow into stride but finished off his race strongly. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He does have a wide draw to overcome, but gets the services of Richard Fourie who will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

WISSA‘S ON FIRE won a good race over 1200m on the polytrack last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

SUN SPECTACULAR has fair recent form lines to her name. Both her career victories have come on this course. Muzi Yeni knows her well and she should be involved at the finish.

RACE 8

GUARDING THE WALL‘S last two starts have been good. He raced from a handy position last time before getting outrun late by Volare E Mambo. He jumps from a good draw of two and can go one better.

IZANAMI was given a peach of a ride when winning her last start over 1200m on the polytrack. The daughter of Danon Platina should enjoy the longer straight and she is one of the leading contenders.

KING VISERYS has fair recent form lines to his name. The son of Gimmethegreenlight won his only attempt on this course. Apprentice Bavish Soodoo takes the 2.5kgs off his back and he will be mowing down the frontrunners.

RACE 9

HOPE CHEST won a good race over this distance on the polytrack last time. She raced from a handy position, showed a good turn of foot and won going away. She is having her first run on this track and if suited, she can follow up with another victory.

NORTH STAR has good consistent form lines to her credit. The daughter of Erik The Red is back against her own sex and she is one of the leading contenders.

CHERRY OH BABY finished 2.75 lengths behind the top choice last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result
