Winning Form selections for Fairview on Tuesday 23rd September where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge
RACE 1
JET QUERARI is better than his last start on the Turffontein Inside course as he was reported to be not striding out. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. His form prior to that outing was decent. The son of Querari is having his first run for Gavin Smith and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
BANDMASTER has decent recent form lines since arriving in the Eastern Cape. He steps back up to 1400m and the blinkers have been removed. With a bit of luck in running, he should be right there.
CLIFFIE CLAVIN‘S last two starts have been decent. He has cracked pole position and if not too far out of his ground turning for home, he should be competitive.
RACE 2
WINTER EMERALDS was his own worst enemy over 1400m on the turf last time as he over raced in the early stages. He was reported to be fatigued post-race. The son of What A Winter won his only attempt on this course. He meets a small field and if Richard Fourie is able to switch him off early, he can return to winning ways.
BLACKBERRY BREEZE ran a good race when fourth over this distance on the turf last time. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.
ARLU is better than his last start over 1400m on the turf. He has won once and finished third twice from as many starts on this course. On best form shown, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
RACE 3
BAIE MOOI is unbeaten from two starts over this C&D. She quickened up well to win her post maiden effort. The daughter of Canford Cliffs returns from a 19-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. She jumps from pole position and if not in need of the run, she should keep her unbeaten record intact.
IMAGINABLE has good form lines since relocating to the Eastern Cape. He is unbeaten from two starts over this distance. Craig Zackey steps back into the saddle and the pair merit healthy respect.
TINTAMARRE is unbeaten from three starts since arriving in the Eastern Cape. He showed a good turn of foot to win his last start over this C&D. Calvin Habib retains the ride, and he should be involved.
RACE 4
GOLDEN PAVILION has top consistent form lines to his credit. He tried hard when third in the Non-Black Type Nelson Mandela Bay Racing East Cape Poly Challenge last time. The son of Danon Platina won his penultimate outing over this C&D. Calvin Habib knows him well and he can notch up his sixth-career victory.
DUBAI HILLS finished 1.75 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 1kg worse off at the weights today and may battle to turn the form around.
KINGS AGAIN finished 2.5 lengths behind SYMBOL OF LOVE last time. She is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.
RACE 5
AUGUSTA ROSSO is better than her last start in the Listed Champion Juvenile Cup. She ran a good race when second in her penultimate outing over 1200m on the turf. The daughter of Erik The Red is making her Handicap debut with Richard Fourie in the saddle. If jumping on terms, she can return to winning ways.
ALEX MILLER took the lead at the 300m mark last time before getting touched off by JAMBO SANA. She is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.
JAMBO SANA ran on strongly when second over this C&D last time. She has cracked pole position and will be mowing down the frontrunners once again.
Race 6
BOSNAY set the pace over 1600m on this course last time before getting touched off by Family Power. 4kgs claiming apprentice Girish Dookhit retains the ride. The daughter of Potala Palace is in a good space and she should be involved at the finish.
STATE SECRET finished 2.35 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.
EXQUISITE should have finished closer to the winner in her local debut as she hung inwards in the straight. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. If keeping on a straight line, she should be right there.
RACE 7
MAKHACHEV finished 2.25 lengths behind GEORGE HANDEL last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. Wayne Agrella is likely to use his early gate speed to overcome the widest draw without using up too much energy. If all goes according to plan in running, he can return to winning ways.
GEORGE HANDEL is a winner of his last two starts over this distance on the turf. 4kgs claiming apprentice Girish Dookhit retains the ride, and he can bring up the hat-trick.
RED WILLIAM was an easy winner of his last start over 1600m on the turf. He has won once and finished second twice from four starts over this distance. The booking of Richard Fourie is a big plus and the combination merit healthy respect.
RACE 8
TAKE YOUR TIME finished 1.35 lengths behind SPOIL YOURSELF last time. She is 5.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. She has cracked pole position and 4kgs claiming apprentice Girish Dookhit is booked to ride. The daughter of Legislate may be rewarded for consistency.
POIL YOURSELF produced a strong finish when winning her last start over 1900m on this course. She is in a good space and with Chad Little retaining the ride, she can follow up with another victory.
OLIVE OYL won a good race when shedding her maiden tag over 1600m on this course last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. She takes on stronger, but is in a good space and should give a good account of herself
