Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Greyville on Friday 5th December where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

DOUBLE CAUSEWAY is the best bet on the programme. He produced a promising debut effort over 1200m on this course. He lost a length leaving the start, but the manner in which he finished off his race was eye-catching. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of One World would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1400m. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating.

STAMPEDE AHEAD is much better than his last start on the polytrack. His penultimate run when third over this C&D catches the eye. Keagan de Melo returns to South Africa and he will be looking to start on a winning note.

VENCEDOR returns from an 11-week break and is having his first run for the Gareth van Zyl stable. He jumps from pole position and if not in need of the outing, he should produce a positive effort.

Race 2

LIMITLESS SKY has shown some signs of needing her last two starts. The daughter of Lance finished third in her only attempt over this C&D. She is having her peak run and should be cherry-ripe. She is the best-weighted runner in this contest and can return to winning ways.

SIESTA SUNSET was running on when third over 1000m on this course last time. It must be noted that Captain’s Christy has come out and won again since. She jumps from pole position and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she should pose a massive threat.

LADYOFDISTINCTION produced an encouraging comeback run over this C&D behind Quickstepgal. The daughter of Vercingetorix would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. She has ability and merits healthy respect.

Race 3

WINDOW TO MY SOUL ran a good race when second over 1900m on the polytrack last time. He raced from a handy position and stayed on at the finish. Keagan de Melo is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

SALANI KAHLE finished 1.75 lengths behind the top choice on debut. The son of Master Of My Fate would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1800m. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should be involved at the finish.

MANY WATERS finished 2.3 lengths behind the top selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result.

Race 4

PIED PIPER followed up his maiden victory with a creditable sixth-place finish over 1600m on the polytrack. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The son of Potala Palace drops in class and should have no issues with the rise to 1800m. With a bit of luck from his awkward draw of nine, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

GARDENER’S PRIDE won a good race over 2000m on the polytrack last time. Apprentice Mxolisi Mbuto sent him to the front and he kept finding all the way to the line. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

MOHANDAS finished 0.25 lengths behind SWEETER THAN HONEY last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

Race 5

BRUH ran a cracker when second behind Madison Valley over 1400m on this course last time. He raced from a handy position and stayed on nicely at the business end. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. The son of Danon Platina will strip much fitter and if seeing out the 1900m, he may be the one to beat.

CHILL IN THE AIR was not beaten far in his last start over 1600m on this course. He has won once and finished third once from as many starts over this C&D. The son of What A Winter is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

EL DANTE was running on when fourth over 1600m on the polytrack last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. He should have no issues with the rise to 1900m and merits obvious consideration.

Race 6

POSITION OF POWER won his last start over 1000m on the polytrack easier than the official margin suggests. The son of Vercingetorix showed a good turn of foot and won going away. He does take on stronger, but is a horse with class about him and he can follow up with another victory.

AFRICAN SKYLINE’S last two starts have been good. He raced from a handy position over this C&D last time and stayed on to finish fourth. The 7yo gelding is having his peak run and is one of the leading contenders.

SOHO STAR tried hard when third over this C&D last time. He finished 2.05 lengths behind ICY BLAST in his penultimate run. He is 5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

Race 7

TURBO TWENTY has good recent form lines to his credit. He set the pace over this C&D last time and tried hard all the way to the line. It must be noted that Kanaal Skater has come out and won again since. The booking of Keagan de Melo is a big plus and from his good draw of three, he can notch up his fourth-career victory.

LUCKY DOLLAR set the pace over this C&D last time and kept finding to hold all challengers at bay. It must be noted that the horse that Harun Al Rashid has come out and won since. Tristan Godden retains the ride and the combination merit healthy respect.

SIGN OF FATE did not settle in the early stages of her last start over 1800m, but stayed on to finish fifth. Both her career victories have come over this C&D. 4kgs claiming Apprentice Dezahn Louw is booked to ride which should assist her cause.

Race 8

GO GRAYSON GO was far from disgraced when fifth in the Non-Black Type Michaelmas Handicap last time. Despite over racing in the early stages, he stayed on nicely at the business end. The son of Potala Palace has won once, finished second three times and third twice from eight starts over this distance. If Callan Murray is able to switch him off early, he should be hard to peg back.

WICCAN WARRIOR finished 1.05 lengths behind IMPOSING last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights which should be enough for the tables to be turned.

IMPOSING is unbeaten from three starts since joining the Gareth van Zyl stable. It must be noted that the form of his last outing has been franked. His record over this distance is an obvious concern, but he is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

Race 9

DE VLUGGE won her last start over this C&D easier than the official margin suggests. She took the lead at the 200m mark and won with a ton in hand. The daughter of Elusive Fort received a three-pound penalty for that victory. She jumps from a good draw of four and may be the one to beat.

SAINT BRIGID finished 1.5 lengths behind the top choice last time. She should have finished closer that day as she was inconvenienced at the 300m mark. The daughter of Master Of My Fate may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

PINK DIAMOND finished 1.1 lengths behind DE VLUGGE in the race referred to above. The pair meet on the same weight terms this evening and she may have to settle for the same result
