Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Sunday 22nd February where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

Majority of the runners in this contest are first timers and the betting market will be the best guide. SPARKLING STAR is a daughter of Rafeef from the Candice Bass yard with the services of Aldo Domeyer. She is related to nine-time winner Asiye Phambili. If not in need of the run, she should start her career on a positive note.

EYECATCHER is a daughter of Gimmethegreenlight from the Peter Muscutt stable with Keagan de Melo booked to ride. She is related to four-time winner Musical Score. If not too green in running, she should give a good account of herself.

LA BOHEME is a daughter of One World from the Vaughan Marshall stable with Richard Fourie doing duty. If not in need of the experience, she should produce a promising showing.

Race 2

FROM THE ISLAND produced an encouraging debut effort over 1000m on this course. He lost a length leaving the start but finished off his race nicely. The son of Royal Mo would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1200m. With the natural improvement that is expected, he may be the one to side with.

LADY JEAN was in need of her debut effort over 1000m on this course. The daughter of Real Gone Kid would have come on from the run and should enjoy the rise to 1200m. With the natural improvement that is expected, she can go close.

BENNY AND PAUL is an unraced son of Querari from the Peter Muscutt stable with Callan Murray in the saddle. If not in need of the run, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to him and the other unraced entrants.

Race 3

FAST TRAIN moved up like a winner over 1000m last time before getting touched off by Different World. The son of Rafeef would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. He steps up to 1200m and can go one better in this line-up.

VOLEGOV set the pace over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time before getting outrun late. The son of Querari drops back to 1200m and he is one of the leading contenders.

ZAGREB returns from a 13-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. The son of Vercingetorix drops back to 1200m and if not in need of the run, he should have a say.

Race 4

STARTING POINT showed good improvement in her comeback run over this C&D. She showed good speed before getting caught late. The blinkers seem to have done the trick on the daughter of Gimmethegreenlight. She will strip much fitter and may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

LOVE HER MADLY was running on when second over this C&D last time. The daughter of Captain Of All is back against her own sex. Craig Zackey retains the ride and she may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

SWIFT SERENITY was caught late when third over this C&D last time. The blinkers remain fitted. Corne Orffer may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.

Race 5

FERRYMAN produced a promising debut effort over 1200m. He lost a length leaving the start, but the manner in which he finished off his race was encouraging. The son of Vercingetorix would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1400m. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one to beat.

GREENCHOICE produced good form lines before given a 14-week break. He was gelded during his time off the track. If not in need of the run, he should be involved at the finish.

BLIZZARDBOY stayed on at the finish over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. The son of Declarationofpeace has cracked a good draw of two and will be doing his best work at the finish.

Race 6

KEBONALESEDI was his own worst enemy at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time as he over raced in the early stages. The son of Pomodoro drops back in class and Callan Murray steps back into the saddle. He jumps from pole position and if switching off early, he should be competitive.

MAN OF CONSEQUENCE finished 0.4 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

WINTER PEARL has finished third in his last three starts. He has won once, finished second once and third twice from seven starts over this distance. The 7yo gelding should produce another honest performance.

Race 7

FOUDRE is a winner of his last three starts and is unbeaten since joining the Eric Sands stable. He set the pace over this C&D last time and kept finding all the way to the line. The well-bred son of Fire Away looks to have class about him and may be hard to peg back.

MAJOR MASTER is better than his last start in the Grade 2 Anthonij Rupert Premier Trophy. His form prior to that outing was consistent and from pole position, he is one of the leading contenders.

TOUCHED BY ANGELS is better than his last start in the Grade 3 HKJC World Pool Politician Stakes. He ran on strongly when third over 1400m on this course in his penultimate start. He should be ideally suited to 1600m and merits healthy respect.

Race 8

SHESGOTCLASS finished 0.4 lengths behind PINK PIGEON last time. She is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The daughter of Querari will be ideally suited to this distance. She always gives of her best and can notch up her third-career victory.

DAME OF TRIX has good consistent form lines to her credit. She was far from disgraced when third in the Listed Windhoek Olympic Duel Stakes last time. The daughter of Vercingetorix merits healthy respect.

PINK PIGEON finished 0.4 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

Race 9

RAVEN BLACK was outrun late when third over 1400m last time. Three of his four career victories have come over this distance. The 6yo gelding drops back in class and should be too good for this field.

BLACK EAGLE produced a good comeback run over 1000m on this course. He showed speed and tried hard all the way to the line. The son of Rafeef would have come on from the run and will strip much fitter. Sean Veale retains the ride and the combination merit healthy respect.

GOLD GIBOSKI has good consistent form lines to his credit. He finished 0.75 lengths behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

Race 10

WHIRLWIND was given a peach of a ride when winning her last start over this C&D. She was slow into stride and finished strongly under Richard Fourie. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight received a three-pound penalty for that victory. She is a filly with ability and can notch up her third-career victory.

WANDER DUNE is better than her last start as she was reported to be distressed and to have pulled a muscle. She returns from a 19-week break which would have done her the world of good. If not in need of the run, she should give a good account of herself.

MUSIC OF THE NIGHT ran a fair race over 1000m on this course last time. The blinkers seem to have had the desired effect. If jumping on terms, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

Race 11

TRAILFINDER made the expected natural improvement when winning his maiden over 1000m on this course. He showed good speed and found extra where it matters most. The son of Querari is a progressive type and should love the rise to 1200m. He has plenty of scope and it would be no surprise to see him follow up with another victory.

AZZURRI was running on when third over this C&D last time. He has won once, finished second once and third twice from seven starts over this C&D. The son of Pomodoro cannot be discounted.

SPIRIT finished 0.05 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish
