Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Sunday 21st September where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

WHAT A PASSION stayed on when third over this C&D last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. She gets the blinkers fitted which should keep her mind on the task at hand. The daughter of What A Winter is a progressive type and may be the one to side with.

AURELIAN showed signs of needing her debut effort over this C&D. She returns from an 11- week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. With the natural improvement that is expected, she may pose a threat.

WINTER BLESSING‘S last three starts have been decent. She showed pace over this C&D last time and stayed on at the finish. The daughter of Querari must be considered.

Race 2

DRIELANDENPUNT should have finished much closer to the winner on debut as he was awkwardly placed at the 100m mark and 50m mark. The manner in which he finished off his race was eye-catching. The son of The United States would have gained from the experience and with Craig Zackey in the saddle, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

JOHNNY BOY produced a promising debut effort over this distance at Hollywoodbets Greyville. The son of Rafeef had to overcome the widest draw but finished off his race well. He would have come on from the outing and is one of the leading contenders.

SPAARNE RIVIER is an unraced son of Hawwaam from the Mike and Mathew de Kock stable with Callan Murray booked to ride. He is related to four-time winner Miss Platina. If not in need of the run, he should give a good account of himself. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to him and the other unraced entrants.

Race 3

SON OF RAFEEF produced a promising debut effort when second over this C&D. He took time to find his feet that day but the manner in which he finished off his race was eye-catching. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The son of Rafeef would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he may be the one to beat.

WINTER IN LONDON was in need of his debut effort over 1000m on this course. He would have come on from the run and should enjoy the extra 200m on offer. The son of What A Winter should make the natural progression.

BOURNE SUPREMACY returns from a 15-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. The son of Red Ray has the scope to improve.

Race 4

JET BLACKFIRE showed good improvement in his last start over this C&D. He raced from a handy position and stayed on to finish second. The cheekpieces seem to have done the trick on the son of One World. He is a progressive type and with S’manga Khumalo in the saddle, he can go one better.

PIED PIPER should have finished closer to the winner last time as he hung outwards in the straight. He gets the cheekpieces fitted which should keep his mind on the task at hand. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

MASTER SILVANO stayed on when third over 1200m last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He jumps from a good draw of three and cannot be ignored.

Race 5

QUINN‘S TIME lacked extra late over 2000m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. The son of Act Of War has dropped in the ratings and may be ideally suited to this distance. Deryl Daniels is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

SCHIPOLE stayed on when sixth over this distance on the polytrack last time. Her penultimate run over this C&D catches the eye. She returns to Class 5 and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

GORGEOUS CAPE made the expected natural improvement when winning her maiden at the second time of asking. The daughter of Hawwaam takes on stronger, but she has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.

Race 6

CAPPELLINO‘S last two starts have been good. He tried hard over this C&D last time, but found one too good in the form of Fate Of Fortune. The son of Hat Puntano is likely to race on the speed and with Richard Fourie retaining the ride, he may be the one to beat.

WHEREVERILAYMYHAT finished 4.4 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

TEEREX found one too good in the form of Bank Street last time. He is having his peak run today and will be cherry-ripe. The son of New Predator is a solid back-up for the Wendy Whitehead stable.

Race 7

HIERARCHY produced a good third-place finish in the Grade 2 World Pool With Race Coast Debutante last time. She raced from a handy position and tried hard all the way to the line. The daughter of Erupt is the best-weighted runner with 51kgs on her back. If not in need of the run, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

LUHAMBA PHAMBILI showed good speed when winning his last start over this C&D. He returns from a well-deserved 14-week break. Despite carrying top weight, he should be competitive.

QUERARI ROSE returns from a 21-week break. She is a filly with ability and if putting her best foot forward, she should have a say.

Race 8

TERMINATOR was not disgraced against stronger company over this C&D last time. He has won once and finished second three times from as many starts over this track and trip. The son of Trippi drops back in class and from pole position, he can notch up his third-career victory.

MASTER BOMBER stayed on when third over this C&D last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He has cracked a good draw of three and should be right there.

GOLDEN RULE was an easy winner of his last start over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He received a six-pound penalty for that victory. He is in a good space and with Richard Fourie in the saddle, he can follow up with another victory.

Race 9

WILD JUSTICE won a good race on debut over 1000m on this course. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of Vercingetorix returns from a 14-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. He takes on stronger, but could be anything and can remain unbeaten.

REAL WAR finished 1.55 lengths behind CIRCUMBENDIBUS last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

CIRCUMBENDIBUS won a good race over this C&D last time. He received a three-pound penalty for that victory. Serino Moodley retains the ride, and the combination merit healthy respect
